  4. As you can see with increments of 500, the early levels might seem like easy to progress from, but as you level up you quickly start getting into obscene amounts of EXP. Leveling from 100 to 300 would require you about the amount of EXP you'd need to get to level 90 on Surge. (Which only a few players got to legitimately in whole of it's lifespan. Leveling to 400 becomes virtually impossible. With each segment of 10 levels requiring over 1 million experience and still scaling up. In this sense levels 300 to 400 would take more experience than 0 to 300. The idea of infinite levels needs to be suplemented with SET AMOUNT OF EXP to level up. Good number I'd say would be around 10k. This will easily let people scaling into infinity over longer periods of time. (Getting to 1000 would still take you 9 million exp). Thanks.

  5. I don't see the point of "infinite level ups" At some point it will stop feeling like it matters, making the system feel worthless. It's no better than having some arbitrary max level, except now the devs need to keep updating the level up system with new icons forever... Let's face it, we all know infinite levels isn't really going to be the thing that retains players forever. Not that it's bad to have! It's good for some level of player retainment. But to the devs, we players are not stupid! ---- Many have also already pointed this out. We level up way too fast. Getting level 1-100 used to be a grind in older Microvolts and I think that was great. It gave more weight to every level, it made every level matter more and feel more rewarding to achieve new levels. Giving us 100 instant levels just makes it feel like a nothing system, like it's all unimportant, unprestigious. Now I can't tell the difference between a level 20 and level 100 because anyone can get those in 1 day. MMORPGs and many gacha games have already cracked the formula for level-up grinds... and so did Microvolts Surge back in the day when they did the same exact thing. Levels should go back to where they were around 2013. ---- So, what I'm saying is, rather than planning for infinite levels, just come up with a really nice looking max level with AWESOME icons along the way. The thing that will retain players in the long run will be the promise of updates, fun content, improved old content, good gameplay and game balance, and a variety of activities.

  6. Agreed. Levelling right now feels extremely unprestigious. No idea why they chose to give everyone 100 free levels, makes no sense in my head.

  7. I think the current mp per level is too low, also i think the amount of time need to level from 100 to 100+ is just too big. I think leveling should be like what overwatch 1 was, also give us one spin per level. We should get mp per match like 200 for Wins and 70 for Defeats or something like this.

  9. Totally agree, THIS is what i've been screaming since launch.... although i also agree with johnesy regarding the original lvl 5 for weapons but i would like the glow and colors they added after for the lvl 9 upgrades.

  13. I feel that's more of an issue with glitched spots on maps tbh. I always remembered it being easier to bypass stun when the jump height was shorter because you'd be able to make quicker landings and be less vulerable in the air for juking. The extra jump height feels abit extra, since 90% of matches end in zombie wins because people can't hide anymore in higher spots (not glitches) and the lack of melee runspeed in the game prevents people from running away too. I agree that the zombies can be pretty tanky at times though, especially in bigger rooms. And the stunning itself is a whole issue as well which would be hard to rebalance without breaking the mode.

  14. More suggestions / bugs I've seen on the forums: Bug: Level rewards aren't being handed out (no mp, no level 100 stand, etc). Suggestion: Nerfing zombie jumps, as it trivializes the game mode and makes zombies jump anywhere, making zombies win most of the time. It was balanced for when MV surge had busted weapons, but now they're weaker so the high zombie jump should be reverted to normal. Suggestion: New forum sections for suggestions, bug reports, and feedback. Suggestion: Increase the (A) melee runspeed by 100 - 200 as it feels pointless as a runspeed weapon since it only increases it by like 30 compared to the other upgrades. It also barely makes a difference whereas other upgrades impact it more. It feels abit slow to get into gunfights and extra slow for zombie mode. Suggestion: The votekick system should be removed or reworked, especially if we get active ingame moderators. People are abusing it to kick players who are better than them or topscoring.

TL;DR Don't delete new upgrade system for old, instead give us a new system called Customize where we can freely customize our weapons, either through a new currency, or an existing one, but one that can be farmed, or farmed and bought through RT. With customize I mean being able to freely change the color of MP weapons, or add, delete or change color of Weapon Glows EXPLAINATION So, as long term players, we're all adjusted to either the 5* or 9* upgrade system, giving our weapons a different Color and or a Weapon Glow. This feature has been removed with the new upgrading system that easier lets us change our upgrades freely and easier cater towards our playstyles, as well as try new ones if we so crave it. However, as a lot of people have been saying and or even complaining about, is that now we can not get these specific customizations as having our green pepper, or sea eagle's be blue instead, or have a green or blue glow. I believe it'd be possible to reach the same cosmetics without actually changing the upgrade system. I think adding in a new UI for weapons with another options in the UI called Customize where we can freely choose and customize different weapons as we please, like having the option to use Battery or MP to customize these weapons freely, or adding in another third currency that's farmable. This would also give players an incentive to grind, farm and play the game further than just daily or weekly challenges. I think adding in a system like this would also give all players way more customization options where it could be possible to have the level 0 pepper with a green glow, or as a few examples here: Blue pepper with green glow, Green pepper with blue glow, Blue pepper no glow, green pepper no glow. I think implementing a whole new system for this, instead of replacing the current upgrading system would be more Ideal because alongside the "New" Currency, there could be a purchasable option for RT spenders who wouldn't have to grind if they so choose. This would possibly increase the income of the game and the company without adding in P2W and keeping the correct mindset for the game, while still leaving the option for people to farm and spend time on the game. This system would solve multiple problems with one single change, I also strongly believe a lot of player would come back as time goes on alongside more changes, but some changes are more important than others and I strongly believe this is one of those changes. -Slauj

Looks like they are okay with everyone reaching lv 100 easily (which is a bug, the required exp for the next level is 0, gaining even 100 exp will level you up) 2. 99.99% they won't change the lv icon. They plan to extend the lv infinitely which explains why they use such simple icon to be reused infinitely. 3. Looks like they don't really bother with community feedback and proceed with their own plan I don't know how some of you guys always stays positive with the game, but personally I don't see the game last very long. Hopefully I'm wrong.

  20. Anyway, zombies don't need jump boost because the typical strategy is for zombies to work together and climb on each other's heads to defeat figure camps. This is the real reason zombies should only have equal jump to figures.

  21. 4k MP per month are nothing, this is just a joke. the new patch is also a joke. they just need to bring back the old or a better leveling system + static mp per match + 9 upgrades per weapon + clan inplementation and the game is good to go. they will keep losing player if they are not listening to the community...

  23. I always tried to have all of the first rare weapons and When I finally got them, the game closed. So my favorite weapon set would be: Slate hammer Silver rifle (apsu would have been nice aswell) Dazzler Sea Wasp M-135 (also the slugger guns tho) Duke/duchess (but also the bazook gone bonkers) Predator I know it's very basic but it was too nostalgic for me

  25. I think, like many have mentioned by now, that the HP of the Zombies is the probably biggest issue. It's debateable if the jump should be lowered, but I think it would even help the Zombies to some degree. Mostly unreachable spots are glitch spots, and not usually places that high up, with a few exceptions. By lowering the jump height, zombies wouldn't be as helpless in the air and land quicker (Stated above by Tanooki as well). Zombies are extremely vulnerbale on super jumps (Just think of Toy Fleet or Neighbourhood for examples), if more than one player shoots them, they are knockbacked so far that they land outside of the map. So maybe looking into that would help as well. To make the Zombie-Mode more balanced though they should also increase the run speed of the figures, for example by adjusting Type-A melee's run speed if it already doesn't deal as much damage as to 1-hit 2000HP in one go, at least in most cases.

  27. Someone suggested adding a filter for character parts in your inventory and that would be pretty cool. They also suggested adding options to switch which weapon sound effects you hear (like how you can switch voices). So you can choose to use pre-surge sounds, newer sounds, etc. Also for future reference, I'm just going to be posting suggestions I see from the discord and all around (and others can add too) so that everything is condensed in one place, hopefully making it easier for the devs to browse. Maybe hopefully pinning the thread at some point so people can throw more ideas.
