  2. Hello everyone! So i wanted to talk about what i noticed about reading the forums and that is the lack of communication between the players and the developers. Im not saying any form of slander to the devs, in fact i appreciate them working hard of mvr and giving us a more polished or better version of the game and im sure being a game developer with a small team is so easy task..but the lack of communication is leaving players either inpatient, angry, or giving them false hope which leads to players not being interested in the game anymore because "the devs won't finish the game etc..blah blah blah" I think the devs should hire community mods to keep the players mind at ease or letting them know that the devs aren't abandoning the game or engagement to what to look forward to the games state and development. I understand that the devs are preparing something big for us knowing that they've been pretty silent but it wont hurt giving us updates(or heads ups) every now and then..it just feels like we're talking to a brick wall at this point. Well if the game fully releases, i hope they would engage with us more! Theres more i wanna say but i dont wanna make this post very long and unreadable so ill just leave it at that.   3. Dear Director Leo, I am writing to you today as a concerned member of the Microvolts community regarding your current policy of not informing the community about updates or the game's situation. I kindly ask that you reconsider this decision owing to the fact that it is imperative to keep the community informed and engaged throughout the development process. As you may recall, from your statements, you mentioned that it is possible to fix the game step by step, believing you referred to the Divide and Conquer algorithm. However, either the game is not receiving considerable attention, or your team isn't capable of designing a paradigm to find the optimum solution the current problem. Furthermore, I want to remind you with the promises you made during the first contact with the community. You mentioned that the game would be released in the second half of 2022 and that your team would communicate more actively on Discord during CBT. However, it is now March 2023, and the game is yet to be released. Moreover, communication through Discord has not been achieved. This lack of communication and transparency is causing a rift between the community and the development team, leading to frustration and disappointment. That is why I am asking if it would be possible to request that in the event of a future missed deadline, an announcement to be made to the community explaining the delay or even providing information when we can expect the next update. I believe this will help build trust and maintain transparency. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Sincerely, 007

Im too scared to post in this forum but here i am.. anyways maybe they should add forum emotes with the charas i only made this on my small laggy phone for 20-30 minutes (ill probably make more im still waiting for my ipad to be fixed) but this is just an example..who knows i might make a whole set of em ; D I love this game and i still have hope for the development team! I know they've been working hard! I'll come back to this forum to read news about development and y'all are really nice people..ill be active in the forums but ill just be on the sidelines haha Also it looks rushed, thats because it is. : P Have a great day/night !

Sorry it looks rushed but thats sorta the point anyways since i was speed running to finish this im just waiting for my ipad to be fixed thats all teehee Maybe ill actually make something that's actually decent but no promises.   7. Levi claimed before the end of february we would get some kind of news which obviously did not happen. The constant empty promises are just the regular now. Sell the game. ANYONE is more suited to run this project than these taciturn devs/ GM's. I do not want these people to be in charge or even have any kind of authority over our accounts. Absolutely unreliable. I remeber when i had a problem back in surge id get a respond within 16 hours. Litterally always. If a problem later will stir up with the game due to bugs/ glitches/ hackers/ accounts you name it they won't bother to respond.

  11. A quick sketch on naomis racer set Took me about 40 minutes. It aint much but its honest work! Also i wont be doing fanarts for a while cuz im still waiting for my ipad to be fixed and my old laggy phone keeps on crashing its frustrating..i cant even finish a full art piece without it crashing, and also its a small phone so my fingers get cramps Ill make more fanart when i get my ipad back ofcourse (⁠人⁠*⁠´⁠∀⁠`⁠)⁠。⁠*゚⁠+ Have a great day/night!

  14. We? I don't know about you but some of us might be investing money into the game, and if it's going to be run the way it currently is then no amount of delays will cover for their lack of expertise. The right move would be to just communicate more, the total opposite of what they're doing.

  17. Based on "Ori's" forum post it seems people on this forum is divided on the games state so...I'll give my predictions on the game development for this year. I'll try to make this short. •The third beta phase will be released on either end of march? Or April-may-mid june.. since one of the GM said "very soon" so i guess were getting close. •Possibly open beta will be released on July-August or mid September? On October to November, the game will be a state of polishing (fixing bugs, weapons sound, stats and etc) And the official release date will be on Christmas or maybe end of November (as said on the steam page..or thats the i remember it..) Thats my predictions.i i hope the developers doesn't stretch the release date to another year, i really want this game to release this year because the community will just lose hope and patience at this point and move on to other games, while toyheroes are literally making money out of the game they dont even have the rights to own. As much as i want to play the game right now...I refuse to play toyheroes. I dont wanna support shady people. Also the devs saying that they have a "roadmap" for the game and milestones? I sure hope they could at least reach it, im not gonna give them high expectations as they are a small team. But i still have faith on the team, hopefully we could finally play Microvolts this year.   19. Microvolts had its service in Latin America under the name "Microwars" by the company "Softnyx". It had a very good acceptance and number of players for the year 2013-2014. Please take consideration of our Latam region The server was in Peru.

  22. WHile that is a good idea, the devs wouldnt be able to keep moderators under control, so regardless of what they try to do if they dont care and dont engage the community they wont be able to do much.

  25. Truth be told regardless if youre good or not if you talk sense you talk sense and this has a fair ammount of it. Its true that microvolts was a chaotic and spammy game but i feel like it gave the game charm and made it fun. A game being balanced doesnt mean its fun and i had no problems with surges game balance, if we ignore prices, this is something that quite a few people here forget to do when they brand weapon x as overpowered. Explosive weapons were a fair bit brainless in the game because yes they were quite easy to use but honestly i would change only a few things on them, less blast radious on rockets since they are the easiest to aim and less damage on grenades so they work at checking corners. Yeah snipers were a fair bit busted when they started adding more and more of them and power creep started getting more bonkers, your ideas for changing them are quite good but the ammo change is a fair bit extreme, maybe 6 shots total with extra ammo via items being reduced ? And splitting the snipers into different classes, high damage slow zoom, slow reload that restricts your movement quite a fair ammount, one that is the opposite so its more for quickscoping and getting into peoples faces with it but the thing is while it zooms and reloads fast it cannot one shot anyone unless you hit them in the head, so if you hit someone in the body you have to swap to another weapon to finish them off, promoting weapon swapping instead of always using the same weapon. Alternatively make snipers deal more damage based on how far away they are so they are used more at longer ranges instead of pretty much all the time. Im not super big on what they are trying to achieve here with three weapons per category, i like having plenty of options even if the stats arent that big of a difference, i feel both systems have pros and cons but well have to see which direction the devs decide to take things. Im not a fan of the weapon and part upgrade we currently have, for parts and items it subtracts from what we already had, instead of forcing an upgrade system on them just let us change the stats on the item whenever we equip it. Leave the upgrade system for the weapons since thats something microvolts always had, feels wrong to completly remove it but a change is needed, the first level upgrades the weapon with all the stats it would normally get with 9 levels in the stat you choose while the remaining ones give small stats to the other levels. So lets say you want to upgrade your weapon in power, in surge you would get primarily power but also small changes to other stats, instead the first level could give you all the power you would get with all the levels and the remaining ones give minor stat boosts to everything besides power. Sorry if this is difficult to understand, its late just came back and i need rest and a hug. Never bothered with elimination, felt like it didnt belong in microvolts. Just one thing i want people to ahve a bit more consideration about, keep in mind people that play the game for its alternative game modes, melee only and zombie players make a fair chunk of the player base so keep them in mind when balancing things, because sure giving all melee attacks insta kills seems fair and would make more people try to go for melee kills it would kill the melee community.

  29. They wont be able to fix this game, You know why? Too much bugs, glitches, exploits, etc etc, You wanna know why i know? Cause i was on their develop team on the original game from 2011.. Good luck trying anyway, looking forward to see what they made from it.

  30. I believe they are planning on keeping the weapon "upgrading" system as follows: Level 0 = non-upgraded, proficient stat not chosen | Level 1: fully-upgraded, proficient stat chosen. They made it very clear that they don't want any amount of P2W in this game, which of course, the old upgrade system was very P2W. As much as I'll miss the old system of progressing and upgrading, it needed changes, and we may not have seen the most of it's potential. I'd love to see levels 0-5 return, or even 0-3. Though, I think weapon stats should max out after the first upgrade, the bullet/projectile colors should change, and color/effects and whatnot. I think the glow of the level 8/9 weapons was a bit distracting and was a pretty big disadvantage earlier, I'd like to see that revisited or redone personally.

  32. If there's one thing that befuddled me throughout my microvolts lifetime its the distinct lack of fan art for the game. And here we are, 4 great art pieces within about a week or so and this game still hasnt launched yet. Great work!

I'd love to help them out if they needed it, I remember applying to be a moderator back in MVS but I was like 12-13 at the time and they wanted at the very minimum for you to be 16, maybe 18 years old I believe. 20 years old and a lot of free time on my hands now, I feel like I'd be a decent candidate

  34. You and volt are the perfect candidate to keep and eye on the community. Also yes i have noticed that the devs have been distant towards us (the community). Its so weird that the devs said that they would "engage with the community" but then they dont wanna make a official discord server or they keep pushing the people away who has been supporting the game since. The community is very dedicated to this game and the development.. seeing how we waited and waited for the game to come back and when it did, we came crawling back and reunited again as a community to support the devs I dont want this game to crumble.. this game has so much potential and it has a big impact on my childhood.. I also dont want this game to be a wasteland again like the day it was shut down, people seem to move on to other games but i still find myself hope and always keeping tabs to see if the game will come back. But when it did the devs just gave us the silent treatment and expect us to just be fine with it? Of course i dont mind waiting even if it takes years but its just the community im worried about. What if they just lost all hope for the games development and lost interest to the game? Then fewer and fewer people will just stick around until the community is just a shallow empty shell. : '( I still hold hope for the dev team, if they dont have time for any communication to us thats fine! Totally understandable that they have a full plate on their hands but they should at least hire community mods. Also yes i also agree they should do polls, lime "vote a community mod in the forums" type polls If it does happen, I'll definitely vote for you and volt!(⁠。⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

  40. I am pretty sure at this point the devs have either given up in trying to communicate with us or given up in this project as a whole and just don't wanna tell us. It was a nice dream for as long as it lasted but I'm officially giving up my hopes on MV coming back anytime soon.   41. "Amongst one of the best", but then you don’t use bazookas, or grenades as much? Anyways nerfing the sniper with movement is a great idea, I don't think many people have fun when someone is strafing, or wavesteps with it and randomly hits them for a one shot. Shouldn't also be accurate on jumpads either. While I already dislike how you can reload by just putting your weapon away, I think less ammo as well would be nice, since we see a lot of clips of just pure multi kill snipers. With elimination, I think it's already problematic because no games that I know of that are popular are just putting radar out in the middle which is gonna incline players to just wait or camp, but of course I wouldn't really know how to approach the camping situation unless we use a popular idea of just adding a closing zone instead. Also since the goal is to kill all other players, but you could camp the whole time, and tie, is just gonna be a bad game mode. There's little motivation to actually move, no bomb plants, no zones, no objectives. I do like the idea for grenades/bazookas to do chip damage, instead of hard hitting damage. It would make better corner checking, and less, oh wow I'm already low from two grenades. In conclusion, I agree with the sniper nerf, grenade/bazooka chiping / increasing radius, or maybe not increasing radius at all, elimination edits. I think we should strive to make elimination more serious for the future reference of the competitive aspect. While I don't think the post was timely, it's not "not helpful", though while I shouldn't of even commented because the ideas might be simply washed away, I decided to just wait til the end of this month for this "roadmap", before I start crying and moaning that it didn't get here.
