  1. I totally agree, I've been awaiting a weapon balancing change since the third beta when I first started talking about it, I gave incredibly in depth feed back on each specific weapon, I was told everything was appreciated and would be looked into. However, later down the line after release, I made a ticket asking about it, where it was stated that nothing had ever been looked into. Fast way to fix weapon balancing, 1. Remove random damage from snipers and melee weapons. Reduce type A grenade launchers blast radius, damage, and or explosion time (The time it takes for the actual grenade to explode from when it was shot, so the powerful nades can be dodged and played around) Remove rifle damage fall off completely, or change it to a % base of 5-20%, it's currently at around 200 damage on furthest ranges making it completely useless and if you take a look at the microwiki, rifle is described as a, powerful and accurate weapon, that's flexible for short, mid and long ranges. A weapon good for every situation you can find yourself in. This is also how a lot of games balance their game out between good and bad players because a rifle is the easiest weapon to understand and use, not to mention you spawn with it in your hand every match and after every death. MG also needs to be looked into, type B is way too accurate and needs a higher fall off damage number, while type C has way too much power. Shotgun could get an increase in pellets per shot, and then decrease the damage per pellet to even it out, this should also make the shotgun way more reliable.
  2. No, to be more precise, there'd be another button next to the current upgrade button that says customize that would let you choose glow color for all of the capsule items, and for basic MP and adv weapons you'd be able to change the colors between green to blue, and yellow to red, freely and which "Level" you'd like. In this sense you Gould have a lvl 0 green pepper, but give it the green glow, or, you could use a lvl 9 looking pepper with green glow or a lvll 0 pepper with blue glow, or maybe a lvl 2 pepper with blue glow. You get the idea of it.
  3. I disagree, changing looks of weapons should be a whole new category, something like Customize where you're able to lets say, unlock new looks for each weapon through grinding, achievement locking, or swiping your credit card.
  4. I disagree with the prices of basic items. In my opinion all basic items should be completely free.
  5. I think any larger type of updates has to go through with the teams and be discussed before anything is put through, remember at core this is a gacha game, I understand that everyone wants cosmetics, but much similar as to, let's say Fortnite, you don't need cosmetics in the same way. However I do agree cosmetics to a point should be farmable. Which means a way to farm MP would suffice, the clothes and items from MP Capsule, differ enough from items obtained through RT to make a clear difference between those who has supported the game through monetary value's, and those who have decided to support the game through playing and spending time on the game. Having people who pay money feel unique or special is key to any game like this, since that's pretty much the only logical reason as to why anyone would pay money from the start. However changes like this isn't going to be over night, over a week or two, or maybe the first month. The game first has to settle down, patterns have to be very visible before most changed can be done. I also assume with the current team, bugs, crashes and maintaining a stable income to be able to keep the game up and running, while also being able to afford staff's pay checks is #1 priority on the list. The game Dev's and the players mind are very separate in a lot of game's, including this one. I'd say for any larger updates with a larger impact on the game, such as MP Grinding, clan wars and ranked as well as if investing in beginner servers is worth the money (Since every unique server: EU/NA/SA and so on) is going to be the logical choice to do here. Sadly it's not always: Do this and game is fixed. It's more to it than just doing things. There's a logical reasoning behind everything, and I'm just going to say we're going to have to give the game and the Devs time. No matter if we like it or not, if it's the logical and or rational decision to make. Truth be told, in recent years, most games release unfinished, that includes this game and for what reason you may ask? People asked for an early version of the game instead of a complete product. We can't ask for an Early Access, and then complain it's not a complete product. However this is also the Dev's fault for not advertising the game as Early Access while releasing it as Early Access.
  6. This has nothing to do with wall shooting or cheating at all. This is just due to MS Delay's and low tick rate (8). Simply put, from his point of you, you were, where he shoots for him on his screen and his client, which then registers on HIS CLIENT, that registration gets send from his client, to the host's client, which then sends it to the server for approval. (If I remember right) This is what causes the hit to register later than what it should've, though we aren't talking about seconds or minutes here, we are talking of like. 80-120 Ms delay max, depending. Then add on the tick rate of 8, which means both yours, and his characters and hitboxes are only updated 8 times per second, which means the server actually just updated 8 times for each second. Other games may have higher, like CSGO/CS2 used to have a 64 tick rate for official servers, and now SUB 64, while a game like Valorant runs on 128 Tick. So in this case, blame the game, not the player.
  7. Hard disagree. That would remove the uniqueness of the game. Something like this would make more than half if not more than half of the active player base to quit the game.
  8. We want information on what changes will be made. As a community dedicated and believing in the development of the game, we care about a good future. We ask all Discord members, forums and players to support us in bringing this to the attention of the developers. We know that the game needs a lot of stabilization and constant work, but we believe that the key to development is conversation. We demand a roadmap of changes and scheduled monthly Q&As. If you are a player and want to help with this goal, please copy the message and send it to the administration. Sincerely, Microvolts players
  9. Spinning for a capsule with mixed sets has an insanely lowered chance to actually drop an item. All win rates are viewable both in game and on the website (In game leading you to the website) I believe most of the mixed item capsules have a drop rate of 0.03% - 0.1% which is insanely low, meaning depending on the capsule, you could be spinning on a set with a 1/5000 chance of unboxing something. It's pretty similar to opening a Dragonlore in CSGO. That probably puts things into perspective. However, if you had done a bit of research or asked around prior to spinning, You could've been told, or checked the drop chances yourself. If you had chosen to spin for lets say, 1 specific chip set, like Awesome) Only, now each piece has a 2% drop rate. Which means in the end you would probably have gotten the entire set, if not numerous sets. Information is Key, and inside of the capsule there's a button that says: View Probability (View drop rates). There you can check every single item's drop chance and rate. The difference for these 2 are insanely different, spinning for the full party has 30 ish items each with a super low drop rate, I checked up the probability for you, and for the full party there's a 0.89% drop chance to get any of the rare items per spin, though there are 3, which makes it around 2.7% per spin which means u were just extremely unlucky in your spendings. However, had you spun for Awesome only instead, you'd have a 10% chance to get an unlimited item per spin. However in your defence, they have with the newest halloween update removed the probability charts for all the other capsules, however if you were to check other full party capsules, or ask others what the best option to spin for, you would have known. For me personally I always check and research drop rates for any game I'm "Gambling" in. Because knowledge and information is power and is also key to everything you could ever need or want.
  10. I don't think MP should be different depending on your level, noir should it be MP per game. Imagine being lvl 130 and spamming 4 v 4 3 round elimination on Junk yard. These matches are going to be 2-3 minutes long and you'd be able to farm tens of thousands of MP every hours.
  11. 1. Explicit language, Insults and harassment is Bannable, and for those people who are doing it and don't believe me, go read the Terms Of Service for the game and you'll find out. 2. For the people complaining about tankers, you obviously do not understand that using speed is better than using tank, if utilized properly. Tank is more forgiving while speed is less forgiving, however speed is more high reward than tank is. Especially in TDM modes where HP pickup is available. I can't speak for melee only though. Though I can understand the frustration of sniping and not being able to 1 hit, but you have equal access to using tank as anyone else and you don't have to go full tank, just do a 50/50 split. The options are there, I think the people who are acting like this guy should stop being stuck in 2012 and start moving forward.
  12. During the last beta I told them everything they needed to know about weapon balancing and gave them the exact information on which types that needed to change, and what specific changes they needed. I also told them to release the game under Early Access, so not everyone goes in and goes: Oh the game is out? Uh, this is shit I'm not coming back. Instead of, Oh it's early access? I guess it's not too bad for an unfinished product! Also for weapon balancing: Rifle type A needs slightly increased firing rate + accuracy and rifle type B needs a full remake since it feels horrible to use. Shotguns type B and C are fine, but type A is completely useless and needs to be automated with an increased power or to be fully remade into a new idea. Maybe 2 slow shots but heavy dealing like the old Driver as an example. Snipers are actually pretty balanced, I think snipers shouldn't always 1 hit, not in the stomach, however, type A shouldn't one hit a full tank in the head, but type D/B Should 1 hit a full tank in the head, the snipers are all supposed to have different uses. Type A is agile and useable in most situations and positions, but it doesn't have enough power to 1 hit a player. Type C has more ammo, does a lot of damage, and is easily burstable with. Type D/B is slower, better for a campy/defensive playstyle and and will most likely 1 shot shots if upgraded on power and the enemy has 320 tank or lower, any higher needs to be a headshot, which is balanced. They managed to approach snipers very well. Type A Gatling is pretty bad not going to lie, I've barely used it, Type B is way too powerful, agile and accurate for the firing rate and warm up speed it has and type C just has way too much power. All rockets deal way too much damage and has way too high blast radius. Grenades are pretty much in a similar boat to rockets, except type A has a way too short explosion timer for the high blast radius and damage it has, it's impossible to dodge or outplay those little bastards. I haven't even used any of the other grenades because it's so overpowered. Also speed makes you way too fast. As for melee changes, I don't play melee so I'll leave that to the melee players, however Type A melee doesn't have enough run speed to actually make me want to use it instead of type C, which ends up having more uses in all weapons than type A in my opinion.
  13. I think there's a bit more complaining and negativity than there should be. Let me explain what I mean further. Changes don't come in a few days, adding in everything they are asking for, on top of what they had planned (they most likely have a roadmap already) is going to take more than just a week or two to change. A lot of things are happening and it's going to take time. I understand that communication right now is lacking a lot, and that's the real big problem here. The newest patch brought in Clans, which is something a lot of people have asked for, now people are asking for an incentive to play the game, as well as weapon upgrade/customizations. The incentive to play and grind, could easily be implemented in my eyes, but since there's no communication between the devs and the players as of now, we don't know for sure whether it'd take a day, a week, or a month for them to implement a grinding system that they think fit the game. Because they don't have any prior experiences or knowledge about the game (I think they don't at least) they might not understand that even if were given MP and those cosmetics, people are still going to spend the same amount fort he RT exclusive items. This is due to how the community is developed. But in their eyes they probably have to find a grind solution that's not going to kill their active game income, which is important for the game to actually grow, with updates. What we do know is that they have a new anti cheat in mind, and as far as we know, they might already be working on it. Also in my eyes, I'd rather have them put focus on the important parts like, Tick Rate, Game performance, glitches and bugs, Anti-Cheat. Much rather than an endless grind system. Maybe I'm just biased, but I really just play the game for fun, not to grind. My incentive to play the game is because the game is fun to play. As far as level rewards go, They said it'll take a few days because they have some specific steps they have to take in order to track the correct items to the correct account. so give it time. People will come back eventually as the game gets better due to the community being small and close. Always 1 person within a friend group who consistently play the game or keep an eye on the game or it's updates who then later updates their friends.
  14. If you press F4 to open clan chat while inside of a match the game will crash. If you try to rebind it to another button, it'll also crash whenever you press that button instead.
  15. Indeed, I'm pretty sure they already know what they're doing, but the communication is very lacking, which is the only concern I actually have.
  16. You can get on a even battlefield weapon wise after finishing the tutorial, Just go to the shop, spend 700 MP on weapons, then spent 200mp on battery and upgrade your weapons with the rest of your MP. If you don't have enough MP, just play 1 or 2 matches and you level up and now you can afford it. I really don't see a problem here.
  17. Instead of reusing the old level up concept, just add in a new tuning system, called "Customize" that lets you freely choose what to use. They could even add in a farmable third Currency we use to unlock or switch these Cosmetics. Giving people a reason to farm, grind or play the game more actively. Which will also in the long run, keep the game more alive.
  18. Item match is a team death match mode where items will drop, different power ups, 1 gives increased Power, one gives you a speed boost (quite fast actually), one will camouflage you as an enemies team mate and one will give you bullet protection. Super Item match, is pretty much the same I believe, (Didn't really play it so I don't remember too much of it, more than the fact it is a game mode) Close combat is the same as item match, but melee only. As for grinding, I'm not personally interested in something to grind for, but after hearing numerous people quitting the game over having no incentive to play, I feel like giving these people a reason to grind, may it be nice cosmetics or some rewards to be able spin the limited capsule is just healthier for the game since we wont be loosing these people, and the player count will stay higher. Sure, but each character for Team Fortress 2 is very unique and you can very easily change characters which forced you to re-learn the game, it can almost be seen as a new game. Which our game doesn't have. That will make people burn out because it's just the same thing over and over again, This is why I think events, updates and changes are necessary. An example of this, both good and bad, is Fortnite, it was by far one of the biggest games we've seen to date, and most hyped, with almost everyone knowing about the game, even people who's never played a game knew about Fortnite. However, some people didn't like the changes, which made them quit, but it also brought in a lot of more players. Most games lose players over time, but keeping changes and reasons to come back playing is important. Almost every game does this now but through seasons and battle passes, which gives people something to grind for, or a "New" experience. Which proves that it is important to have these things. Sure a game can be successful without them, or fail with them, but the chances of success are for sure higher with them.
  19. Explanation This is going to be a list of things I personally think the game is missing and would make the game way better. However I'm ONLY going to list things that should be easier to implement through existing game files, such as different game modes, servers and simple systems. So lets get started. 1. Game Modes As of now, we only have a select few different game modes to choose from, while these current game modes have always been the most played and most popular game modes, sometimes you feel like playing, or trying other game modes. Some game modes I personally miss are: Square Mode (For testing purposes), Arms Race and Boss Battle. However, there are also more game modes that others might enjoy that we're missing, such as: Item Match, Super Item match and Close Combat. Then last but maybe even most importantly, is Clan Wars, This is something the game needs, it's always been the biggest part to differentiate skilled players, to non skilled players, as well as different type of groups within both communities. Also, the most watched type of videos on Youtube are Clan wars, where top clans were playing against each other. 2. Low Level Servers Low level servers is something the game is going to need, I can't put enough emphasis on this. Just the past week I've realized there's a huge influx of new and old returning players who have lost their skill, needs time to build it back up and re-learn the game. But due to some people having played a private server for a while, these people have gotten so good the new and returning players spend more time dead than actually playing the game. I've heard and seen so many people quitting the game because it's just too hard to get into. So I believe fixing servers for lets say, level 0-50 only would make this experience way better for the new and returning players. 3. Current tutorial I strongly believe the current Tutorial should be fixed up slightly, or fully remade. It has major problems like, the targets you shoot with the bazooka have incorrect hitboxes and sometimes it's actually harder to hit them, than it is to miss them. Sometimes shooting a direct shot at them wont even hit. Along with this, the current Tutorial does not teach, talk, or tell anything about the Swapping system or mechanics for the game. This is something that should be taught in the tutorial of the game, since it's basically mandatory for everyone in the game to learn. I've taught many of the new players for MVR about swapping, and personally taught them how to do it. A simple fix could be to: make the shotgun target take 2-4 shots, and changing up the chat box and or voice lines to explain the swapping system for new players. 4. Random Tips The game should have random popup windows with game related tips when idling in lobby, or in the loading screen while entering a match. The type of tips should be gameplay related, or weapon related, tip examples: Remember that Enemies can hear your footsteps! Headshots deal more damage than body shots. Weapons will reload while holstered. Re-equipping a weapon after shooting allows you to fire the weapon faster. (Short explanation of swapping) 5. Grinding System A lot of people have been asking for a grind system/reason to play the game. This could be implemented in various ways such as: Way to farm MP for Limited Capsule. Capsule drops with chance for: MP, Battery, Boss Battle tickets and Seasonal Items. New farmable currency for weapon customizations like weapon color changes and or weapon glows Leaderboards with rewards for top placements. Examples: Play time, Performance, Levels, Experience Gained, Kills, Clan Score. 6. Clans Clans currently feel, utterly useless and irrelevant. There's no reason to create a clan, join a clan or search for a clan. Joining or creating a clan, makes no difference inside of the game since there are no visible clan icons, no clan chat and no clan wars. -Slauj
  20. I feel as a started they could atleast bring back Square Mode since it's already in the files, and works by using Third Party Software (Some guy made a square mode room for me in last beta) This mode, along with other modes such as: item Match, Super Item Match, Close Combat (Melee Only), Arms Race and Boss Battle.
