  1. The game loses more and more players by the day, I'm curious what their end goal is here. The game had such great potential, MVS was doing pretty good even toward the end and only really failed because of poor decisions by higher ups in NQ Games. Masangsoft had the chance to undo those mistakes and make something that for the past 5-6 years we've been waiting for. Instead the game is doing worse than the illegal unlicensed (now shut down) private server ToyHeroes. Yesterday, they posted a list of newly banned players, giving the impression that they cracked down on cheaters. However, all the banned accounts had simply exploited an RT glitch that the game developers themselves had overlooked. It's just really deceptive. The game released in August, and there still hasn't been any meaningful updates to gameplay or weapon mechanics. Instead, every update seems to focus on introducing outrageously priced RT items or tweaking things in the Inventory/Lobby department, with the occasional bug fix. I haven't been home to see the lobby for a few days but from what I've read on the discord, the game is struggling. This is a situation where listening to the playerbase is dire for the game's survival. The developers had no experience with the game prior to buying it and it shows. Also the forum is super janky with videos/pictures, and not having a category for media related stuff is kinda dumb? This is just a rant, bla bla bla
  2. The weapon class concept could work, but weapons need more balancing. I don't mind having 3-4 stats for all weapons, but I do agree it's boring when everyone uses the same class. Rifle imo is the only weapon that has an okay balancing, the rest of the weapons all have a clear superior class which kinda defeats the purpose of weapon classes imo.
  3. That's kinda funny of them to say considering mp exploits never had an impact on the MVS trading system.
  4. I don't know what they're trying to solve with a measly 10k rt a day. It'd be insulting if it wasn't too baffling to digest. So many things to fix with the game and they think some rt will solve it...
  5. I'm not against a different level system than what we currently have, but I don't have a strong opinion on it. What I DO have a strong opinion on are the level icons. What a monumental downgrade in design quality, creativity, excitement and originality. The ENG level icons are by far the superior icons of any region, but even the worst of them are better than what we currently have. It's honestly a disgrace to good design, and to the players that waited 6 years for this game. It is an eyesore to behold, and a displeasure to even glance upon. They could have done so much with what they already had. The ENG level icons could have been repurposed and made even greater, but instead they wiped it all away in the most basic bare bones way possible. The icons are abysmal at BEST. Can I modify the client and use whatever I want instead of the normal ones? Yeah, of course, but after enough time you get tired of modifying things, Playing with inauthentic visuals doesn't feel the same. So you end up having to tolerate mediocrity. Just a few thoughts I had on the current level icons.
  6. The rates are pretty awful honestly. I feel like RT on MVS gave you more bang for your buck than RT on MVR does. It's up to them if they want to make it worth it or not, it's only discouraging people from spending more. 100$ for often times not even a full set is pretty bleh, glad to not be spending a dime more on this game.
  7. There are also tons of unused dioramas that are actually desirable. I mean, a circle with a random texture each update? Pretty lackluster.
  8. The dioramas are just lazy retextures that don't even look good. Pretty unfortunate. Dioramas are among the easiest things to export to functional .nif so idk why they don't take advantage of that to create actually cool content.
  9. Some people just pull stuff out of thin air, they have not mentioned anything about glowing weapons. And afaik, glow only had 1 bug when in-game, when standing in front of certain walls/objects the glow would only appear on the weapon and the outside part of the glow would be cut off. Not really a significant bug, at least not one that I expect them to have discovered.
  10. I'm not sure to what degree they punish players but I'd give reporting him a shot. You can report on the official masangsoft page.
  11. Who knows why they didn't remove it. But I wouldn't let it get my hopes up, cause it probably means nothing. Imho it probably just comes down to laziness.
  12. Looking at the "rewards" for the steam wishlist, I don't think they have a grasp on which items people actually like. I'm sure they'll release a lot of the ugly surge items. I think nearly all pre-surge sets have great designs and fit the game in well though. So if they don't suffocate us with post-surge stuff it'll be alright.
  13. only got naomi pandora and chip assets exported hence there's no knox or kai
  14. Dump of some renders ive been posting on discord but not here running_hb.mp4
  15. Ok why did they change the title? Are they fr spending time randomly changing forum titles instead of fixing the game they broke?
  16. Just curious what other people think. Personally I have not had any fun playing the betas so far, at all. If you look away from the p2w aspect of MVS, the weapons felt a lot better than they do on MVR. The mp shop weapons were somewhat balanced, but the weapons and weapon types on MVR is pretty bad. Maybe they are working hard behind the scenes, but that hard work does not at all show on the product they are delivering. Most of the changes feel super unnecessary, and it does not feel like the devs are familiar with the game at all. The fundemental weapon balancing needed improvement but it did not need a complete overhaul. Only interesting part of the game so far is the replay system. If this is the direction they're going in then I'm really disappointed.

I have 0 expectations at this point. Beta 1.0 was already mediocre but the fact that 3.0 has even less content is wild imo.
  18. They totally ignored the actual problems with the game and instead created new ones. I haven't had time to try the 3.0 Beta but the first beta was disappointing. I don't get why they spent time randomly changing weapon stats (and sfx??) instead of focusing on the real issues, like unbalanced weapons, rt being too op, etc. Even the new sets/weapons they created don't fit the game aesthetic and concept. Honestly that alone was enough for me to have low expectations. Probably won't play the game if they don't fix everything they broke. Only thing I'm interested in is the replay system, that's the only good thing they did so far. Such a disappointment.

    N/A

everything u said has already been leaked by sw1ndle since saturday, no point in keeping the source of ur info a secret
  20. cool idea to recreate existing clips!
  21. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3E1GHwwqdg Decided to make a tutorial on how to put together a set in blender and use in-game animations for it. Hope anyone finds use for it.
  22. Just kinda ironic to express your "heartfelt enthusiasm" but not use your own words idk.
  23. Considering they kept the new-age characters i doubt they'd do this, regardless of how cool it would be. Keeping only Naomi, Kai, Knox, CHIP and Pandora, and then adding Colonel would be perfection. Considering there are asset scraps from a scrapped co-op mode i think they should take advantage of it for sure. Boss Battle is pretty boring the way it is now.
  24. He was never playable to the public. Only featured as it's own character in a HAVE Online gameplay trailer.
