Honestly, you should probably leave the discord until they do something about what's going on in there, for your own safety. I'd also recommend disabling DMs from server members while you're in there.

I think people need to stop being so hostile, if the game lives then great, if it dies then oh well. Let people judge the game, as well as defend it, but going nuts because someone said something you might feel is offensive is abit silly. People have every right to be disappointed, and as I've said before, having hope is great but don't have so much hope that you'll blindly ignore criticism and yell at anybody who has any ounce of complaints, and vice versa with being too pessimistic. I lean towards the pessimistic side but that's irrelevant since I'm not as vocal as I once was about it (plus I've already said what I needed to say about the game before).

This could be a hot take, but I genuinely like the idea of absolutely customizing the upgrades for sets you buy. You can (at least in the current beta) upgrade hands, legs, etc from sets to make them unique to how you want them, and re-upgrade at will. I'll applaud them with that and say that this system feels really good. Like how you can upgrade multiple sections of simon's set for example, it was a very welcome change for me.

Expressing dissatisfaction is valid criticism. They literally listed what they don't like about the game. How is any of this hate speech (rhetorical question, it isn't). They're valid in saying masangsoft isn't doing the best because (as of making this post) it's a fact.

They need to communicate often, not every blue moon. I wouldn't fall for the PR speak if I were you. I know people may cope but I'd prefer to see action over words, considering they talk rarely and never deliver. It's cool to be happy they're talking, but until things change I'm going to remain skeptical.

Can you guys revert to old microvolts surge stats and work from there? it's fine if a game has alittle bit of pay2win as long as the weapon differences arent drastic. it's what made weapons unique, and making them just skins doesnt feel as good as I thought it would.

It's unfortunate but true, I know people may cope (trust me, I used to), but this beta is by far the worst one yet. And it's very clear where they're putting their investment (cashgrab capsule stuff). The first 2 betas made me think "ok so no capsule, maybe they wanna work on the game first" but nope, they've just been working on capsule and money making options over the gameplay first. "But the replay system", thats great, I appreciate it, but the game at it's core should come first before all of the extras. I'll still stick around and watch what happens, but my expectations are really low. They seem very adamant to shove capsule stuff in our face (probably cuz people asked) but won't work on gameplay (which people ALSO asked for balance).

These look very promising so far! Im just abit confused on the capsule part.

Wanted to add, I honestly see that I've been bringing it up alot more than I thought I was, I kinda just wanted to help because I felt I knew the best way to handle situations and see both sides without making things personal. But I feel like I'm just going to upset people regardless, I'm sorry guys and I'll just not hang around. Call me dramatic but maybe I exhausted too much into this.

I really don't understand why this should even bother you in any way whatsoever. This seems more like a personal gripe than anything. I already explained myself and you feel the need to keep poking at it. Telling me I don't understand then constantly ragging on the same point seems really pointless and just feels like your way of going "gotcha!". You already "got me" twice, if you want to point out for a third time about the whole moderator thing then hey go nuts? If people are just going to behave this way then maybe I'll just back off and satisfy those who want it. I'm tired man.

It's because it's necessary. If you think this was some sort of "gotcha" moment then you're severely wrong. If you want to sit back and watch the fire burn while doing nothing about it then that's on you, but don't act like others shouldn't try in any way they can to fix this mess that they created. This community has always been immature and toxic from the beginning, and nipping that in the bud sooner rather than later will help fix it before it becomes mainstream (full release on steam) and new players end up put off to the community as a whole. If it means I embarass myself and throw myself under the bus to look like I'm begging to be a moderator, then so be it, but something needs to be done and there's a reason I've recommended others aside from myself, I just don't want them picking the wrong people who solely would want to become a moderator for some selfish power creep, I want the game to be run properly and that's all I care about in the end. And so far they've been doing a very bad job at that from the community side of things which I've complained about more than enough times.

It'd be as simple as just having around 3 - 5 moderators to fill in every time slot basically, and all of this would be fixed. Yet they refuse to ackowledge any of it.

Have you been sending tickets too? Every ticket I send gets ignored and I even recommended some users to make mod (one of them was you) while also applying myself. They just do NOT seem to care about anything relating to the community and they've just been caring about numbers and potential profits it seems. They don't even reply on the forums anymore. It's become clear what their motives are, and if they keep going this route then nothing good will come from the game and people will leave immediately when people just get insulted and trolled to no end. They really just went "wow, our bots work, job well done!" and wiped their ass with the rest of the server. They STILL have NOT banned the offending users in the server, going as far as to only delete their messages and do nothing else. They think they know what they're doing but they don't. We offer help and they've been so stubborn, it's infuriating.

I agree, I missed the old website, it was very pretty and had all the information you needed.

Thankfully player counts will be something we can publicly monitor to see how good / bad the game will end up doing.
