  1. This is a very well thought out post! This should definitely be looked at, I hadn't noticed this myself but I'm glad someone did. How does everyone feel about the balance of run speed and HP? I feel quite personally even with a melee upgraded on run speed, and a full run speed set. Personally I think run speed melees might need a bit of a buff.
  2. I was thinking about this as well, it was very cool back then everyone had matching names. Good ol' [MOD]Taco ๐Ÿ˜† I miss that guy
  3. If the rules and guidelines for the event were followed properly, your rewards should be on the way. I received mine today, along with the missing MP for the level reward bug as well. They are likely doing them by hand, so it may take some time to get everyone, there were quite a lot of participants. If you don't receive it within the next couple days, I would recommend sending a support ticket.
  4. There's still hope but changes are necessary and I just hope they are willing to make them. Personally, I feel like I don't have any reason to grind so I simply get my daily reward and get off for the day most days.
  5. I think this is the case for lots of cosmetics, especially wings stuff. I know my friend would hate me for saying it but man the over-sized cosmetics really aren't my thing.
  6. A roadmap would really be great, I feel like if they actually have set plans for 6+ months out, this should be very possible and a reasonable ask. I feel like they'd mentioned it as well at one point, but never really followed up on it.
  7. Honestly the capsule rates and prices need some tweaking. I'm no mathematician but the odds of the "Full Party" don't seem right for the price. Also, $7.50 or something per spin for certain capsules is absolutely unreal. I wish I felt like purchasing RT was reasonable because I want to support the game, but honestly everything needs to just be cheaper, especially the insanely expensive RT items in the shop... They're only skins/cosmetic now too, some things in MVS were expensive because they were very strong like God weapons (not saying it was a good system, but it did make more sense for the time being).
  8. Yeah I noticed this too, I may have missed it but the Golden Musashi set for CHIP was just thrown into a capsule with like a ridiculously low rate, it's gonna be one of the rarest items I think. Honestly deserves it's own capsule like CHIP's other sets.
  9. Yes, actually. Using actual map bugs and glitches in Overwatch, CS, and Valorant can get you banned (I've seen it in Overwatch, and CS firsthand, and have seen cases of it happening in Valorant). Severe ones at least, like out of map glitches and whatnot. Not boosting, because those are intended. When I refer to glitches I mean going through walls and unreachable spots, boosts are totally fine most of the time because the zombies themselves can boost too, and with their jump height bonus it makes it a bit easier. I've always wanted Zombie Mode specific maps, basically the maps we have now but altered with more hiding spots and fair spots to get into to fight the zombies. Exploiting bugs and glitches is very much against the rules in quite literally every competitive game. I'm not saying the devs should fix it, I'm saying they need to show that they are against it, because I know probably hundreds of glitches myself, there's no way they can patch them all, especially not quickly.
  10. I get kicked after coming first place 2-3 times in a row in FFA matches, it's pretty frustrating. As for glitching, Masangsoft needs to take a stance on it and begin fixing map glitches. Glitches especially in Zombie Mode are such a normalized part of the game's culture, people don't really see them as problematic. It especially doesn't help that it wasn't really punishable in MVS, and so far I haven't heard anything being done about it yet either. We really need some in-game moderators, especially while they're fixing the glitches themselves.
  11. Snipers do need to be touched on a bit, I don't see a reason to choose anything besides the D option I think it is, either on reload or zoom speed. I always disliked the campy and slow paced playstyle good snipers promote, when only one weapon can compete at such range, the only option realistically is to attempt to snipe back which is pretty boring. A whole lot of that comes down to ping and angles and all that which honestly isn't as skillful as people make it out to be. I think one more solid run of balancing and it'd be nearly perfect though, they just need to be open to making changes.

Strange... These things happen sometimes randomly, people have issues with posting and whatnot that can't be figured out easily. Honestly it's probably something so weird causing it, or a word they have blacklisted that may not make a whole lot of sense to actually be blacklisted...
  13. Honestly I don't see a reason for a CSD type mode because the game is balanced quite well in terms of availability. That was the sole reason for CSD back in the day, preventing people from using overpowered items. If we get another wave of polish on weapon balance, I see absolutely no reason for it. I always disliked that rocket and grenade launchers being limited because there's some skill expression with them there that isn't often seen. Limiting the weapon selection slows down the pace of the game and encourages camping and just abusing snipers, I always thought it was strange that the most competitive format for the game was also the slowest paced... Seems like a crutch in some ways, if they can balance HP/Speed and weapons just a tad bit better it'd be amazing.

The permissions for certain things on the forum don't work exactly as intended, it might be the underlining and bolding you're doing at the same time causing it. Anything that isn't just plain words might cause a red flag. Quite annoying at times, hopefully it can be fixed at some point.
  15. It's not your fault it turned into what it did! It's definitely something that needs attention and I'm just hoping they can choose some moderators that can deal with it, and set out a better set of "forum rules" detailing what's allowed and what's not. Masangsoft themselves should probably do that so that people don't think it's biased and twisted to the morals of the moderators, that would just make people more upset. Praying they get back with people soon as there has been no more communication from the team and potential moderator candidates for almost two(?) weeks now. Yeah... I'm not sure why the process is paused but maybe they're dealing with stuff internally. I just hope they get it sorted soon because people will get comfortable and continue being toxic and harassing people because they think they can get away with it. I worry about the in-game moderators a lot too, in all honesty I don't see why they wouldn't just make Discord and (or) forum moderators also in-game moderators, if they can be trusted with one, they can be trusted with the other. It sounds like they are confident they can handle the in-game issues like cheating and harassment on their own, which I don't think they have enough staff to do that reliably and as often as we need it. Especially on on servers that don't align with their work hours.
  16. Honestly I've never thought of an option to just toggle it on or off but it makes a whole lot of sense. Many games have this nowadays, I think especially because this filter we currently have isn't too great, it'd be a really good idea.
  17. It's just kinda pointless considering there's such few NA players. Adding extra servers right now would be a waste, removing one and adding one in a different location makes a whole lot of sense. I haven't seen NA 1's capacity even hit "Busy" or orange status.
  18. Instead of NA 1 and NA 2 we should have NA East and NA West, I get like 16ms, don't move them please ๐Ÿ˜‚
  19. Making fun of people for tanking in this game, when the max HP is lower and there's no more bullet/explosion resistance is laughable. 0% run speed players are so easy to hit the increased HP doesn't even feel very impactful to me. It really only makes an impact if they're just camping and sniping with extra HP to me.
  20. Honestly with how rare they want items to be, the trading system would do the game a whole lot of good. By the time items come back for their second round, many people probably will have moved onto wanting something else. This system could fill the gaps, they could even use it to make a little bit of extra money too, because it can't be free otherwise people are going to just make alts. $1-2.50 per item "seal" instead of what like $5 before sounds pretty good to me.
  21. Better, but would be way better if we earned MP through playing matches as well. This isn't too bad, I'd much rather it be like 250 tier one, 500 tier two, 1000 tier three, and 2500 for the final day. They should put a little bit more effort into the stands too... it's like an emoji slapped onto a circle lol
  22. If it was improved a bit, it'd be great for newer players. Right now it's just about the most basic AI possible, I find it hilarious that they have crazy stats though like "Natura" I think it is, with his 28% run speed or something lol
  23. I spent $100 so far thinking that you'd only ever get the 2x RT once, but no it seems you might get it for each option the first time you purchase it? The rates and prices of things need some adjusting personally before I spend more, and that sucks too because spinning the capsule is just as fun as it once was back in MVS. On paper spending $78.9 (if I recall correctly) on average before getting a 1 piece set like CHIP (my favorite cosmetic type), is kinda ridiculous, when in Surge I'd say it was probably $15-20...
  24. I agree entirely, outside of their balancing in the beta, this is the thing that needs the most changing so far. MP is the only reason for people to grind and play this game, in MVS it let you spin the MP capsule (and now the limited capsule, but nobody has MP to spin it...), and buy loads of MP gear (which is good!). We even had MP hammers which were another way to spend your extra MP. Their current model is to give out MP through missions, achievements, and events, but honestly I disagree with this very heavily. People need a reason to play, grinding their level was one big reason, but with this new weird leveling system, I personally have no want to grind my level. MP was the reward for playing, people who played a ton had hundreds of thousands, some even had millions of MP just stacked up for their hard work.
  25. So how are you getting the information about this "5 day" rule? We've seen a whole lot of people talking about accidentally deleting something. Have they mentioned it somewhere?
