desafinado56 358 Share Posted June 5, 2023 Having closed betas helps the game develope further since the people that got in are ones that have been playing the game for a long time so they can give a more precise take on the feel of the game since they know how the game used to be more than others and can tell if the feel has changed or not. Another good point of having a closed beta is a smaller ammount of people and therefore a lot less voices that youll have to listen to so developement of the game can go more smoothly. An open beta would be fantastic but the probem is that the closed betas have been quite poorly received so far because the overall feel of the game has been altered in a way that most didnt like, so the previous two closed betas also kept you from seeing your beloved game fall quite low.
