Nerf Explosives

 

The state of the game is horrendous. Spamming and tanking is the only viable way to play. Forget moving on your own and say goodbye to half your health beacuse one rocket or nade is all it takes. It's also really abusable since you can swap and do it over and over. There is no room to be able to dodge either cause the blast radius still hits you for 700+ hp when not even close to the explosion. You have multiple bullets that are SPAMMABLE and UNDODGEABLE so even if you jump to avoid the ''knockup mechanic'' you will lose half your health to ONE aoe projectile. (???????????). The bazooka even shoots so fast so that if you ''dodge'' by jumping over the first bullet you will be hit by the second one guaranteed by the time you land on the ground again. (keep in mind you still lose 700+ hp for ''dodged'' bullets) '':)''.

 

 

The whole idea behind the ''knockup feature'' is to give utility, to make your target airbourne and follow up with damage from other weapons but when two rockets/nades kill there is no point in using other weapons. It's such a broken mechanic that has 0 counterplay, I'm airbourne and UNABLE TO MOVE and still lose half my hp to 1 BULLET of these gamebreaking weapons. The ability to make an oppnent airbourne is already a perfectly good reason to use both the bazooka and nade launcher. They provide so much utility already and seperate themselves from the other weapons in a fun way due to this mechanic, but it's so toxic when they do half my health, them being undodgeable, and they don't have to be aimed at all since the blast radius is so disturbingly broken. This is not even taking into account that you can also direct hit and one shot someone(if that wasn't removed, I'm not sure). They are so overtuned and dominant compared to the other weapons that even if you ONLY USE THEM  you will still do just fine.  (same with machinegun atm but that's  another issue and you kinda have to aim it compared to these abomination weapons).

 

 

The game is in such a bad state because there is no acknowledgement from devs side either. For someone who has played multiple iterations of this game, this is probably the worst. There are so many blatant issues that are just not acknowledged (Mp gain, progression, the machinegun???, variety, speed parts being obsolete, leveling every game, BALANCING to name a few...). Even with that said explosives are still the most obvious issue. Like idk, all it takes is playing ONE GAME because its so prevalent, and guaranteed after playing you'll say to yourself ''well that wasn't fun at all''. 

 

 

I'm no developer or anything of the sort but a balancing issue like this being in the game for this long is... yeah idk really cringe to say the least. This is further elevated by the fact that there are no ''meaningful changes'' happening to the game either, reading the patchnotes feels so depressing. From a players perspective there are so many easy fixes to these issues aswell, and it makes me sad that nothing is being done about them. We are not included in anything, all we see is the end product hence depression reading patchnotes.

Sidenote: I also ran into a bug or cheat or something of the sort that literally made me die from 1 shot of Bazooka at 2000hp and it wasn't a direct hit happened like 4 times in a with the player shooting close enough to damage me and I instantly died. This is yeah idk even cringier if it's a bug in the game rather than cheats.

 

 

I'm sure there are issues that prevent fixing some problems the game has but this feels like a cashgrab banking on nostalgia moreso than a fun game to play with your friends. 

 

Adress these issues and keep in contact with the community please, it can only serve to help and give the game more quality of life.

The zooka oneshot by a mon direct hit you mentioned is super rare bug that happens once in a blue moon (almost never)

Though its funny when it happens.

 

I dissagree with the explosive part. I think nades should have less dmg, and less blast radius (max 500) 

But bazooka should get more blast radius (atleast the option to upgrade it)

A and B bazooka needs more dmg.

B needs more blast radius for sure. You cant hit anything with it and if you do they only lose 600 dmg which is wack.

In MVS you could still have fun with weaker weapons and i think the ABC strategy is plain stupid in that aspect. Players will always pick the best/ strongest option regardless. Thats what made MVS unique.

Example 1: BGI vs a hermes user still winnable and fun cus stats are different. 

Example 2: A vs C bazooka NOWAY A will even hit. You will get smoked and have 0 kills. Forget about even using it mid fight for setting up kills.

 

Also THO has in room settings the option to select ammo capacity for bazooka and nades. So if the host doesnt want spam he can set it to 1 and now everyone has 1/3 ammo on nades and bazooka. Which fixes alot of issues with player prefrences to not spam.

Also the ability to ban weapons entirely from a room would be fun too. 

 

 

I suggest implementing bullet/ explosion armor again aswell as extra bullet/ explosion damage.

Like a trait. Just like you can select upgrades on parts you can choose your trait aswell. 

 

We need variety. 90% of this community is or is getting bored from the repetitive gameplay. We want a major update. Not cosmetical one, but one that affects the gameplay and grind to obtain unique items and experience.

This is just not true though is it. Do not type in this thread anymore , you are just straight up wrong. Only reason you are typing this is beacuse it's the only weapon you use. I've seen you play on MULTIPLE occations, all you do is spam this disgusting cheatcode. Stop sabotaging the game for personal gain
