  1. I'd just like any amount of communication just to know that the project wasn't abandoned or something. Leo came onto these forums and caused so much hyped, and then disappeared.
  2. They aren't wasting anybody's time. Unless you quit your job or dropped out of school in hopes of this game coming out, which you'd be an idiot to do, they've caused no harm besides letting some people down. I don't see why they'd just drop the project and do nothing with it after acquiring the rights to the game and doing work on it already, including concept art and a totally new directive vision in comparison to what we've had in the past.
  3. Many people know who they are, but I wouldn't bother about it. They aren't great people in my opinion, they played a part in the death of the old MV and hurt it's reputation, to promote their own private server of the game and make loads of profit off of a game they do not own the rights to.
  4. Yes, they don't own the rights to the game. Next to none of the work was done on their own, outside of attempting to rebalance and a couple scuffed game modes and a map or two.
  5. Yes, please! Any amount of information would be greatly appreciated, we all want to hear more about the current state of development.
  6. I remember spending hundreds of hours looking for bugs and glitches on maps, I met many people that enjoyed doing the same thing and I became great friends with them. It was a very fun thing to do, especially when new maps came out, brand new possibilities that most people will never experience or know about, all just sitting right there 🙂
  7. I'd love to see everyone start fresh, even though I'd really like to see my $$$$ account again lmao. The memories will live on, but there are many more to be made.
  8. Me too, I hope all goes well with this sort of chaos going on, I hope it doesn't affect development much. I think we all want to see this game release but some are going at it the wrong way, actually doing more harm than good.
  9. Nobody, even the devs have a set date. Sometime in the second half of the year, closed beta in the coming months I think.
  10. I think it could be cool, but I don't think it's what we need. Microvolts is special because it's fast paced, has unique gameplay, and has "arcade-like" fun game modes. Imagine Microvolts but you're doing nothing running around a huge map "looting" for 15 minutes, I don't think that'd be too fun. It's definitely doable though, with all the weapons Microvolts has it could be done, but would require a lot of balancing and great map design.
  11. I actually think the idea of God Weapons is great, but hear me out. They should be some of the coolest and most unique (and personally I think they are) weapons out there. They should all have unique sounds, animations, they should be a novelty thing. The Lucifer is a good example of this, it had a unique sound, wasn't *too* incredibly strong, and had some effects on it. I agree with 95% of this post though, as someone who had 3k+ hours back in MV.
  12. What gives me hope is that they seem to realize that people don't like the P2W aspect. MV was never a "balanced" game, even in CSD and whatnot, because getting all level 9 weapons was incredibly tough and expensive, and you could just buy it with real money. Don't even get me started on other figures having more HP/Speed/Protection%, and protection % was just stupid in the first place. But they seem to understand it and I'm glad. As long as the core game is the same and as fluid as MV was, it'll be great. Flood the game with cosmetic microtransactions, sure, people will buy 'em up, but the game itself has gotta be good enough.

  14. I think a modernized system of what Microvolts had would be great. Split the server browser between classic and arcade, put TDM, FFA, Elimination, Bomb Battle, CTB in the Classic section. And for Arcade, put in Zombie mode, Item Match, Boss Battle, Close Combat, Scrimmage, and Arms Race.
  15. Yeah sure. This dude definitely works for that budget MV version. Sorry your game's gonna die and you won't be making dirty money anymore.
  16. I think Seasons would be great, if it was competitive based, not like Fortnite with their Battle Pass and whatnot. I don't think making items exclusive to playing earlier than someone else is a good system, I actually criticize Battle Pass systems constantly that lock items to that season specifically. NFTs have no place in Microvolts. NFTs were not a thing when it was alive, we shouldn't try to make it a thing now that NFTs exist. I also don't think a Battle Royale would be necessary, though I would love to see a large-scale map in the Microvolts theme, I don't think it would work well with how weapon balance worked in the previous game.
  17. From what Leo's post sounded like, it really seems like they know what we want and are trying to make it that way. They really should strive to make the game a modern version of what we used to play and enjoy, Microvolts had so many modes that made it different than most other games.
  18. Many players are eager to know more and learn about the development of Microvolts, as it was a big part of many of our childhoods while growing up. For people to continue to have interest in a game that hasn't been officially playable for the past 4+ years, we're going to need some teasers occasionally, monthly status updates would be appreciated, and simply communicating with the community on the forums would be awesome. Maybe answering some questions and dropping hints and teasers occasionally, and information on the status of the game, anything helps. Also, spread the word to your friends! Many players of this community have left and/or forgotten about Microvolts, let them know it's coming back, and hopefully it'll be better than ever!
  19. This looks awesome, I had over 3000 hours played back in Microvolts, I can't wait to see what you guys can do with this project, I'd be happy to help in any way I can.
