Very weird indeed. Though i understand why people are here collectively losing their knickers, no communication nothing new there but considering the betas were shit everyone here is just a bit worried about what game microvolts would turn into and with the devs not asking a single thing it makes people even more anxious so everyone just comes here and vents by saying stupid shit. Heres the thing folk were all on the same boat here. Shitting on one side of it is still shitting on the same boat, youll have to deal with the shit regardless to where you look.

This whole post is going to shit. For the ones that havent bothered reading everything till now the devs are saying they have a yearly plan for the game, that means theyll work on it for this whole year however that does not mean it will only be released next year it means theyll update it all year. Thats what ive gotten from this, a little more communication from the team and that one gm would be lovely since it would help clear out misunderstandings but then again we have the community doing that so why bother ?

Its a bit of wishful thinking that the game would become super popular, its unique enough but the community isnt welcoming of new people. Just look at how the betas went, first day people were already insulting eachother and trying to hack. So for this game to become popular the community will have to mature and learn to welcome new people and be friendly towards them.

For certain there will be more updates even if it is just to tell us they gave up and are selling the rights to some other company which might not be such a bad thing. Maybe then we would get some talk from the devs.

They did remove the launch date entirely so i guess they will be making bigger changes to the game, hopefully bringing the game back closer to surge than the weird mess it is right now and maybe base the game in the global version as opposed to the Korean one since the movement just feels off.

In case you dont know here a quick recap of what has happened: They gave us a release date then a first beta, since it was so shit because everything they changed didnt need changing while what needed stayed the same, bugs on maps for example, that made them postpone the release of the game since they were expecting the beta to be received well which considering that beta killed part of what made microvolts fun and itself is wishful thinking. Afterwords there was radio silence as usual and then we got the second beta where they claimed to ahve listened to us by adding a second sensitivity slider for zooming weapons (rifles and snipers) alongside fixing the melee run speed bug that allowed you to move faster than zombies and changing the chat colour from eye bleaching yelow to what it was as white, they also left all the bugs made the movement feel even worse and made it so the only effective weapon was the sniper, killing off 6 weapon categories and making microvolts feel less like itself. As you can expect this did not go well and the beta was dead in about 2 or 3 days. So they postponed it again to an undetermined date. That leads us to now, forum is far quieter they keep losing people and when they do come aroudn to releasing the game there will be a whole 2 people playing it. What im saying here is they need to change their aproach of saying fuck all and have a few words with us.

Youre not alone here, they have not once tried to improve communication with us, not even when that gm joined up, its still the same radio silence. No new dates no information on what they are doing, just jack diddly shit. If they were to open their mouths the game would have launched by now but instead weve had 2 betas the first one being disappointing and the second somehow managing to make it even worse.

Im not an expert with this but chances are it will considering they havent changed the game at all.

If they were to pull the rug right at the end and end the project people would probably start new private servers. One way or another the game will live on.

Wouldnt surprise me if they made a korean server or a chinese one.

They were at first focusing on the game, there were news hinting they were ready to release the game back in 2019 but then they stopped.

Thats true though i understand when people get annoyed and call the devs names, weve been waiting for years now.

Its also annoying how you ahve to crouch down to be more accurate in coutner strike, maybe they should make every weapon a laser.

Yes thats what made the game fun to play, its built on chaos and accuracy because if you want to do any meaningful ammount of damage youll have to hit people square on, this is why i believe weapons that dont require swapping shouldnt be in most game modes, its a core part of the game they should teach newer players about instead of giving them options to not have to. Plus if you play mostly tdm youre not missing out on much with auto shottys they were annoying at best, they shined in zombies because they are always in your face and having extra shots meant keeping them back for longer, so nerfing it outright wasnt the best move.

If the beta goes well which i hope. Lets just see if they take this in a completly different direction.

They probably wont give us a concrete date before the third beta ends.
