  1. Hello, First impressions do indeed matter. As we've been told, the game should be released this year. It would be beneficial for us to list the changes that need to be made to improve the game. Your observation about the first launch settings is important. Yet it shouldn't be hard to achieve. You can easily alter video related settings from the ".ini" files related to video options, which you can find at "MicroVolts\data\config\ENG". Within such a file, there's a field for the FullScreen option. I think if the default value changes, that should solve the problem. Speaking of first impressions, I've previously talked about the need to update the game's tutorial to equip new players with the necessary skills and knowledge in my old topic that is currently inaccessible: https://mv-forum.masanggames.com/index.php?/topic/593-swapping-outdated-game-tutorial/#comment-4455 Owing to the technical complexity of adding new features in the current state. I've a simpler suggestion to make that is time and resource friendly. I've come across an old video that shows decent tutorials that haven't been available for the public to see in Microvolts Surge. Perhaps the game developers could remaster it and discuss new topics that include swapping. This approach involves recording new demonstration videos and hiring a new narrator. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t58R_bcGchI&t=40s Thanks for your time.
  2. Dear Director Leo, It is with great pleasure that we reconnect after months of no communication. As always, your presence brings us satisfaction, as we have become accustomed to receiving positive updates from you. First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude for the addition of the replay system. This valuable feature not only simplifies the process of reporting hackers but also facilitates the capture of memorable moments. While this brilliant approach may not guarantee 100% effectiveness, there is a minor enhancement that could further benefit the game's community. My proposal involves replacing the index column with a universally unique identifier for each saved replay in the database. This modification would enable us to reference the replay's unique identifier to an administrator for review. Accordingly, there would be no need to record the replay and upload it to report an incident. Additionally, we would greatly appreciate the availability of more demonstration videos similar to the one provided. Thank you once again for your continuous dedication and for considering these suggestions. Sincerely, 007

    New Depots?

2 gigabytes of updates sound like a lot for Microvolts. Though I have liked how the game size was relatively small compared to other titles, I'm thrilled to know what has been added.
  5. I have sent a message today. I believe it's all about encouraging members who are willing to contribute their expertise and skills to enhance the game. Our community can make a significant impact on the success of this game project whether by providing advice, feedback or even drawing mockups. Although community-created content hasn't been considered, perhaps by recognizing what each individual is capable of, the developers might make use of such information in the future.
  6. If this is the case, then they should consider fully releasing the game and letting the community members do their magic with in-game purchases. That passive income should be enough to keep the game running and slowly work on the development of the game. Otherwise, they should consider selling the rights. The developers might not be aware of how much money they can earn even when the game isn't at its finest state. If they don't want to listen to us or take our suggestions into consideration, then they should have hired someone who actually played Microvolts when it was running. Soon, they might not have this option available. We've been waiting for so long; some players will return, some won't.
  7. Even though we haven't received what was promised due to unknown circumstances, it should be appreciated that contact hasn't been cut off between us and the game development team, thanks to [GM]Levi. I feel guilty sharing the mesage I received in the ticket from him publicly without his approval. I was hyped to share the news with the community that I couldn't wait to ask.
  8. Hello, It should be noted that while I lack definitive proof or certainty regarding these matters, I offer the following advice based on my knowledge and understanding: If you have sensitive data on your computer, it may not be wise to take the risk. Alternatively, consider the potential consequences and ask yourself what the worst-case scenario might be. Safety: The safety of ToyHeroes cannot be guaranteed, especially if safeguarding your data is a concern. Within the community of this private server, there exist rumors that the individual responsible for its creation also developed cheating tools for Microvolts. It is up to the individual to decide whether to place trust in a person who may be classified as a hacker. Legality: It appears that ToyHeroes lacks the legal authority to host its version of MicroVolts. The responsible parties for this version of the game may attempt to avoid or overlook discussions about copyright infringement and are unlikely to furnish any evidence in support of their actions. EPT-Media claims to be the publisher of ToyHeroes; however, the availability of meaningful information regarding this company is limited. Integrity: The responsible entities lacks the skills to fix and deal with real issues. One way they dealt with DDOS attacks was to block incoming connections from certain countries, without disclosing any information to their players causing frustration and confusion to innocent players from the selected regions. It was reported by a few players that they got banned owing to their web browser search history. Gameplay: I haven't played it for a while but if you are looking for gameplay similar if not identical to Microvolt's ToyHeroes offers just that. Don't expect new sets or maps instead, you will get recolored weapons and mirrored maps.
  9. Yes, our product director Leo, said that communication via Discord would be available during CBT.
  10. Dear Director Leo, I am writing to you today as a concerned member of the Microvolts community regarding your current policy of not informing the community about updates or the game's situation. I kindly ask that you reconsider this decision owing to the fact that it is imperative to keep the community informed and engaged throughout the development process. As you may recall, from your statements, you mentioned that it is possible to fix the game step by step, believing you referred to the Divide and Conquer algorithm. However, either the game is not receiving considerable attention, or your team isn't capable of designing a paradigm to find the optimum solution the current problem. Furthermore, I want to remind you with the promises you made during the first contact with the community. You mentioned that the game would be released in the second half of 2022 and that your team would communicate more actively on Discord during CBT. However, it is now March 2023, and the game is yet to be released. Moreover, communication through Discord has not been achieved. This lack of communication and transparency is causing a rift between the community and the development team, leading to frustration and disappointment. That is why I am asking if it would be possible to request that in the event of a future missed deadline, an announcement to be made to the community explaining the delay or even providing information when we can expect the next update. I believe this will help build trust and maintain transparency. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Sincerely, 007

Hello, I was messing around with Photoshop, and this is the outcome. Feel free to use it.

    Information

I don't blame you for not believing. But it is imperative that you refrain from making unjustified accusations without proper evidence. Instead, you should approach the situation with a clear and rational mindset. Attempting to spread false claims without foundation isn't the solution. I question the motivation behind the attack on someone trying to contribute positively to the community in the only way he knows how. Thank you for helping others understand my message.

I can't post it here owing to the HTTP 403 return code. That is why I have stated that the image is available at the discord server to anyone who wants to see it.
  15. Dear members of Microvolts community, I am writing to share some information that I have recently received from the game manager. Due to the recent concerns and claims that the development of the game had stopped, I felt it was necessary to reach out and gather accurate information to put an end to these rumors and frequent requests for updates. I am pleased to report that the manager provided insight into what has been happening behind the scenes. It appears that the team is not only working on a plan for the next few weeks, as they have done with previous betas, but rather a comprehensive plan for the entire year. This is a significant commitment to improving the game. We are all eagerly looking forward to hearing the real news soon, as promised by the manager. Let's show our support and patience as they continue to work on the game and give us the best possible game experience. If you want to stay updated on the game's progress, I am trying to provide any news as fast as possible on my discord server. The message I have received will be available there. You can find the link to my discord server at this topic. https://mv-forum.masanggames.com/index.php?/topic/686-β˜…-microvolts-recharged-community-discord-server-for-everyone/ Sincerely, 007
  16. I'll submit my feedback here as I couldn't send it using the survey form. πŸ˜… Story Consider creating a story mode for the game. Also, let us decide whether to play it alone or with other players. There used to be a small video where a man figured out that our figures move. Build the story mode around this concept where figures need to collect a few items and do specific tasks to achieve their final goal without being seen by humans. It should be like a hide-and-seek game; if you get caught, you lose. Tutorial I once wrote about the importance of remaking the tutorial, but I haven't received any considerable reply. The entities responsible for the change made in the combat system were worried that new players wouldn't be able to play the game. Slowing down the gameplay can't be the only optimum solution. "https://mv-forum.masanggames.com/index.php?/topic/593-swapping-outdated-game-tutorial/" Sets and parts We don't need additional sets or parts if not for the unusually selected characters like Amelia, Simon, Khan, and Sophitia. It would be more valuable to dedicate this time to something more worthwhile. Map and glitches The currently closed community is aware of possible spots where you can glitch on several maps. Ordering players not to glitch because it's against the rules won't be enough. Additionally, it is easy to exploit the glitches in zombie-mode matches. And that won't leave a decent impression on new players. Weapons I like how the combat slowed down in terms of swapping. It is highly beneficial for new players, but the weapons still need to be modified for the game to be more competitive. Some Weapons are no longer worth using. Shotgun: This type of weapon is pathetic and no longer useful in close combat. I would use melee if I needed to deal damage at close range. Improve the shotgun stats. Sniper: Make the existence of two scope states optional. Grenade launcher: They are horrible. Improve the damage or the blast radius. Melee: I played a few melee matches, and the chainsaw was the best. There was no point in using a different melee weapon. Perhaps other melee tiers need a change in stats to challenge the chainsaw. Bazooka: I like Pocket Rocket because it has a suitable power, firing rate, and blast radius. I'm unaware of other Bazookas. Remember to prioritize tasks according to what the community needs first. Here are my thoughts: 1.) Balance the weapons. 2.) Fix the map glitches. 3.) Remake the tutorial to prepare new players to join the micro-world!
  17. The survey form isn't working as it should, at least for me. It keeps alerting me in the field meant for the Game Design team with a "max of 480 characters." even though I haven't exceeded the limit.
  18. The way Arabic gets written in the game needs to be changed. Arabic is read from right to left, contrary to English. When I type "ΨΉΩ„ΩŠ" It is written as "ΩŠΩ„ΨΉ". A simple approach would be to reverse the string holding the text in Arabic. I appreciate that you've provided us with the option of communicating in multiple languages. But for communication to be efficient, the message needs to be understood, not just sent.
  19. While playing a couple of elimination matches, I experienced two bugs that I'd like to point out: 1.) Victory declaration: The system counts two winning rounds for the enemy team instead of one. This bug has existed for a while; it would be nice to get it fixed. 2.) Projectiles: Leftover grenade projectiles from the previous round deal damage at the corresponding team's base when the new round starts.
