Downloaded Epic Games on my computer and started the game again. Using Steam, not even logged into Epic Games, just having it turned on. The game works fine now. Feels like I've encountered a very weird bug. Hope the devs can find a fix for it (or not, considering I'm the only one who got it so far).

reinstalling the entire game didnt do it for me either. do i have to use epic games to play the game? i really dont get it

You need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable on your computer for it to work (it worked for me at least) Search it up on the internet, it should be on their official website, then click download and pick the x86 option, run it and follow the installation process Try to run MicroVolts again and see if it works Sorry for the delayed response I dont usually look at the forums that often

Why does it pull up an epic login auth fail if im playing the game on Steam...? It does it right after the loading screen on the black screen. I tried verifying files and restarting steam and my pc, it still does it.
