I've been playing MV for a very long time and I want to say that half of the places that aren't buggy are impossible to hide in anymore. Before to catch the figurine, you had to either get to the same place as it did, or give me a lift . Due to the inability to hide somewhere, people use glitches and bugs. It is impossible to hide anywhere on the Hobby Shop map. They jump on the railing, on the door and ventilation, too, on the stool too. So “Neighborhood” and “Toy Fleet” remain the most playable maps.
Previously, weapons were more powerful, so they introduced such jumps for balance, but now what? It doesn't even save you if you're lucky enough to get a minigun. The drop-out sniper rifle is generally the most useless in my opinion.

Yeah the falcon (and firestorm) just suck. The only useful ones are blizzard and the minigun. Falcon does pellet damage and so does firestorm, blizzard also does no damage but can at least slow zombies down.

Ahhh, makes more sense, it didn't cross my mind. Thanks~

Not to mention, the chip capsules have shop melee weapons like the slate hammer series as lower tier prizes, so it's more worth it even if you dont get the set you want (I did 3 pulls and got 2 hammers and an awsome set).

I guess it's a matter of luck, I think the % rate hasn't been published yet. Likewise, the in-game chat is completely full of players winning gold items.

The rates are published in the patch notes section of the forum (it's pinned there).

Bug: The "Enamel Eater" achievement is not being tracked properly. No matter how many health drops you run through, the counter stays at 0.

Yeah, the main issue with this bug is that the ammo drops are tied to ones that drop after killing a player, but players don't drop enamel anymore so it's impossible to do. So is the direct rocket achievement where you need to get 5 kills with direct hits on full hp players in one match.

so... when i try to open the game the message "steam login authentication failed. please try again later" appear, i already tried to reinstall the game, repair files, log out of steam account and even checked if i was in a admin profile on windows (i am), nothing works

Try reconnecting steam through the website. It worked for me when that issue was happening.

Either of these two types of icons seem good to me for the game.

The original level icons will always be the best and most fitting ones. They're colorful, and fitting for this toy-based game. I respect people trying to make their own, but personally I don't think anything beats the icons old MV had.

Back in the day zombies used to win almost every match, now it's the complete opposite.

More and more people are playing together and giving information and just makes the game harder for zombies.

I would say give a 10% or 15% increase HP to all zombie types.
If not this, make the ability to speed up 20% faster.
else if, make the knock back weaker

    (haha funny programming joke)

Pls I'm going to poop myself.

Honestly the zombies need the jump height, with the knockback it's very hard, and at times literally impossible to reach many spots people are in. There's always sort of been this idea that figures need to have the advantage in Zombie Mode, but when the zombies aren't terrible it's actually kinda fun to play as a zombie. If anything, I find that their HP is ridiculously high at times, that could be revisited for sure. The way they get knocked back as well needs some adjustments too, it's absolutely unbearable just being stunlocked if more than one person is shooting you.

I feel that's more of an issue with glitched spots on maps tbh. I always remembered it being easier to bypass stun when the jump height was shorter because you'd be able to make quicker landings and be less vulerable in the air for juking. The extra jump height feels abit extra, since 90% of matches end in zombie wins because people can't hide anymore in higher spots (not glitches) and the lack of melee runspeed in the game prevents people from running away too. I agree that the zombies can be pretty tanky at times though, especially in bigger rooms. And the stunning itself is a whole issue as well which would be hard to rebalance without breaking the mode.

Gibbing was, for what ever reason, removed later on in surge's life.

For example, you get killed with a grenade pill, you get electrocuted, and then you just.. flop to the floor.

When previously, you got killed with a grenade pill, you get electrocuted and blow up into many plastic bits!

Should definitely come back. Made kills with the chainsaw feel so damn satisfying!

Then you have the fact that some maps have snow falling in them.

...And that the ambience for every(?) map is completely missing. Destroys the map's life completely!

These problems probably shouldnt be too high on the priority list right now, but they should definitely be fixed at some point.

I actually miss the gibbs and map ambience. Chess just doesn't hit the same without the jukebox, and neighborhood without the saw sounds and kitchen noises feels so hollow.

  9. I hate to say this, but the gacha system is netting them ALOT of revenue right now, based on how much people constantly win. As far as it goes it's good, but some of the capsule machines are extremely predatory while others are more fair. Though I think we should have WAY more item shop stuff than what's currently in the game. We also need the coupon system back, as it was the only pity system we had.

This is exactly what I'm hoping happens as well it's kinda their only option tbh

Or just have the current gained exp scale up to whatever levels they'd make it so that it matches up properly.

Basically people who are lvl 100 would end up being like lvl 15 - 20 after reworking the exp / level values.

yea bro i feel you and i love your dedication, but at this point i really dont think that there's somebody reading this stuff besides us, players xD not to sound pessimistic, but i dont think any1 cares about the state of the game. We got a patch fixing some random stuff, they didnt even touch the important stuff.

I understand the pessimism, I don't fault you for it, but they do read the forums. I used to have the same mindset, but alot of the changes made are player oriented and they managed to make the game better...but not perfect. It's got alot of faults and even if we talk to the void, it's better to have things out there than to keep things unmentioned. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

That being said, we still need better communication, moderation, and updates from them because it's abit of the wild west around here.

yoo, the glow in settings has nothing to do with glowing weapons xDDD its about graphic effects and lighting, not weapon effects. I understand how those might be confused easily

No there's still the weapon glow setting, it's still in the game.  You can find it in the settings at the bottom.

Many people actually abuse this kick system, this should have been reviewed since the Surge

There used to be kick protects which basically made the votekick system pointless, which is why it needs heavy reworking lol. But sadly I think this is more of a community issue than a game issue, since tf2 has the same votekicking system but people don't really abuse it there. Unfortunately, microvolts players are alot more prideful and hostile so this may be an unfixable issue in some ways. I think removing it would be very viable, but there's also NO moderation, so an extremely hateful and racist person could get away with anything if it's gone.

  14. More suggestions / bugs I've seen on the forums:

Bug: Level rewards aren't being handed out (no mp, no level 100 stand, etc).

Suggestion: Nerfing zombie jumps, as it trivializes the game mode and makes zombies jump anywhere, making zombies win most of the time. It was balanced for when MV surge had busted weapons, but now they're weaker so the high zombie jump should be reverted to normal.

Suggestion: New forum sections for suggestions, bug reports, and feedback.

Suggestion: Increase the (A) melee runspeed by 100 - 200 as it feels pointless as a runspeed weapon since it only increases it by like 30 compared to the other upgrades. It also barely makes a difference whereas other upgrades impact it more. It feels abit slow to get into gunfights and extra slow for zombie mode.

Suggestion: The votekick system should be removed or reworked, especially if we get active ingame moderators. People are abusing it to kick players who are better than them or topscoring.

There should be a pity system or something 😕 like what mobile gacha games do.

Exactly! It's a shame that there's just nothing at all to make you feel like there's any guarantee for an item.

  16. Someone suggested adding a filter for character parts in your inventory and that would be pretty cool. They also suggested adding options to switch which weapon sound effects you hear (like how you can switch voices). So you can choose to use pre-surge sounds, newer sounds, etc.

Also for future reference, I'm just going to be posting suggestions I see from the discord and all around (and others can add too) so that everything is condensed in one place, hopefully making it easier for the devs to browse. Maybe hopefully pinning the thread at some point so people can throw more ideas.

Oh yeah. I really wouldn't mind them experimenting with items you can get that have unique stats that differ from the regular variants. With previous versions of Microvolts having literally like a thousand different weapons, it was basically impossible to balance. Although if we just had even like a handful release per year, maybe like 4, it would be very interesting. One per large event or major update, I could come up with loads of unique weapons, with a bit of tinkering you could balance them very well too. Would be really cool to see like "Popper [Unique]" or something, would be a really good use for coupons too.

    Yeah I really miss coupons...

  18. Suggestion:

-Wishing they can bring back older maps (bigger magic paperland, big forgotten junkyard, etc)

    Bugs:

-All the maps are missing ambient sounds (not super important but it makes the game feel less hollow and cheap lol) like the sounds in MPL, chess music, neighborhood sound effects, etc.
