  1. Its hard to understand what happened without hearing anything from them directly, my theory is that they did the bare minimum of listening to the community over these couple of years and tried to fix some of the main complaints but didn't really have the actual vision or capacity to make the game something truly big just yet, it feels like they are following the motions of interest of the player base more then actually having a full plan, wich is good cause they are listening so far, but at the same time a bit of a passive position to be in. They clearly didnt do as many changes as they could have in the time they had the game wich makes me believe they werent that interested in trying to revive the game at first, maybe not enough of a monetary invcentive to invest in this game earlier. But they started to see the potential and decided to commit to it as of lately, last couple of years, maybe they had constraints from the contract after buying the rights and all that and just now untangled themselves, so many possibilities... Even the reason why the first microvolts ended is quite unclear, most people say there was not enough support and attention to the feedback people where giving, lets hope this devs take the failure before them as a cautionary tale and listen to the player base at least so they can implement truly meaningful changes and keep the game afloat.
  2. Thiat remake at least puts in the effort to show progress. I wish we got some cool icon after leveling up, to justify the struggle a bit more you know? It would be pretty cool if they got inspired by the characters or maps we use more, I would love me some pandora themed icon. But that would add too much scope to making the icons.
