    im having the same problem, the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Microvolts\bin\d3dx9_42.dll" pops up for me too and no matter how many times Ive reinstalled, verified game integrity, messed around with the files, nothing is working

    Idk how to clean cache but I have tried to reinstall it, verifying game integrity, running steam as administrator, no matter what I do it just wont start for me

    Closed beta just opened up again on July 28, everytime I open up the game, it says that an error occurred and immediately closes the game. Whenever I press "more", it says "ACCESS VIOLATION" on the reasoning. I tried everything but I cannot fix it.
