That is great news actually, hopefully they can add more for other issues. I always thought it was insane that was really never taken care of.

too bad there's still couple thousands exploits left about currency and such on that are gamebreaking as everything ive published before, sadly people are aware of any exploits much that i've found and nicknamed most of them with troll names only cuz i've flexed with them and made them public.

main reason rest exploits still work and seems this thread can't cover them up all is cuz here's only info i've shared before, i did explain in my previous threads some stuff that would half the ammount of exploits possible as freebie.

The first roadblock you hit if you want to make the cast server simulate the game is that all MV servers run on Linux, and Gamebryo is a Windows-only engine. So you'd need to recompile the cast server for Windows, which will result in a ton of side effects on the deployment infrastructure.

smh this is so wrong on so many levels if u cant figure out why next time stop pasting knowledge you don't understand at all

  3. about anticheat they've already implemented heartbeat a week ago, anyway they're still not using xigncode at its full potential, i've reversed before old games that were using full potential of xigncode and i would say tbh that it would be for the best considering most of them still struggle with it at current state of anticheat which only difference between it and toyheroe's custom usermode ac is xigncode's xhunter1 kernel driver that strips handle access and communicates with mapped modules by x3.xem and also has checks against kernel iat hooks against xhunter1 which is decent ig considering everything is still easily to emulate if u have few neurons with experience.

    Hello,

These Anti-Cheats are running on userspace on Linux through proton, if the game owners enabled the support to play on Linux. Why wouldn't Masang enabled it too?

If we use your argument that the amount of Linux users playing this game would be pretty low comparing to Windows users (which is also true) the target audience to cheat would be Windows because It would be easier to make cheats on Windows than making cheats work through the linux binary of the anticheat which communicates to the windows binary.

currently if they fix the bad implementation of xigncode which takes probably 2-3mins, linux would be alot easier and viable to cheat on without leaving any traces whatsoever.

there's a reason there's tons of individuals in private who relay on modified qemu/kvm with gpu passthrough having no problems on valorant, fortnite and other games that have top anticheats.

csgo struggles with its game even now after so many years on linux side and their only real protection comes from serversided ai detection vectors.

as far as im aware only known games that are actually played on linux and are popular are csgo or dota.

it is true that there's some games that do run through proton like ark survival, rust, dbd, even though mostly they would have just more crashes or potential lag spikes which wouldnt be fixed unless they actually make a native client for linux as well for game not just anticheat.

current game itself is already in a bad state when comes to optimisation and cpu usage, linux users that really want just to play the game on linux would eventually complain about lag or crashes that can be fixed just by masangsoft spending more of their budget to make native client for linux as well.

those who wouldn't complain or think about those facts mostly want it just to exploit easier.

    Hello,

Currently EAC, Battleye, XIGNCODE3 (look at the game DJMax Respect V which uses XIGNCODE3 and supports Linux through proton), FACEIT anti-cheat (the one that they are working on), nProtect, etc.

I am not asking to port to native, just asking for them to update the XIGNCODE3 libraries and enable Linux support.

none of them even managed to get kernel to work through proton, if its to talk about linux case none of them are decent at all, even if they would get kernel to work through proton, there's 2 many ways of getting around anything just cuz its linux

    Hello,

I have tested Microvolts Recharged under the platform "Linux" and currently this game does not work on it due to the fact that the XIGNCODE3 libraries are not updated, which means, currently they do not have support for Linux.

This problem affects everyone that uses Linux which would also affect Steam Deck users.

By updating XIGNCODE3 everyone under the platform "Linux" (which includes Steam Deck) would be able to play this game thus I would like to request a update for the XIGNCODE3 libraries.

    Thank you in advance.

low playerbase worldwide on steam on linux barely reaching 2%, considering we would have to take in count the ammount that plays or played mv out of them the percentage goes alot lower even if we would considerate the people that would want to play in future this game, which would mean in waste of budget which they barely afford to do much.

mv itself is vulnerable enough already against tons of exploitis i found alone and not talking about just cheats, if they would take approach into linux and such on there'll be almost 0 chances in even detecting someone to be cheating by using any known anticheat let alone xigncode.

i understand most linux users love it most of them for not having so many useless apps services and not be bloated and faster cuz of low resources usages, still rather spend their budget in improving it and fixing stuff than porting it into an area they wouldn't be able to handle much.

Good choice! I have to say that the Perses was the best shotgun in all of MicroVolts. The power has been incomparable. That was my feeling 😄

there's a reason most people used acme cannon/acme blaster and such on, on visible stats they're not as good as perses though you got more chances of 1shot from close range with acme

and you are sooooo right. The Hermes just does not fit with the other God weapons. A rework of the Hermes I would love to see.

it had tons of reworks from 2 bullets usain nuclear power damage 2013 first release, toywars japan if i remember it had only 2 bullets not 3 though it had that usain bolt speed, and the late mv surge hermes rework which was okish considering there were other bazookas more overpowered at lvl 9 overall

About Gabriel you really do not have to say anything, just awesome.

tbh as a sniper it would be 2nd place by design after quantum night(black sea wasp version from microwars), and 1st place by effects

about reload/zoom and damage it always had a great feeling even after it got nerfed from first stage like hermes.

The Hyperion was just too op. Too much damage, but always awesome to play.

boring rifle lame effects/sounds and if u would use it just for stats there were always better choices like quartermaster( i might misspell weapon names since its been years but golden pirate rifle for those who know) had most damage if i remember or apsu in normal rifle categories, while if you're decent player you could always pull off ak47 rifle which was in its own league of rifle category for 700+ dmg per hit, so pretty much anyone who can do burst fire and not just hold down mouse1 would take that rifle just for stats but again it has horrible feeling when playing it.

Lucifer I only ever unpacked when playing Melee-Only, because like you said right, it stands out way too much.

it was perfect pretty much like gabriel, except as you mentioned its bad for montage/edits and such on cuz it stands out too much.

other than the great effects/sounds only thing i would say it lacks would be a thunder effect or something special when you kill enemy with it.

most of them did use in 2013 when they released them and they would still use since nostalgia would hit once you use gabriel predator gold/silver/black rifle

    Hello!

Why do people be hating on him? Give me a valid reason other than "hes just a knox rip-off" no he isn't, his voice lines are rushed and the devs did him dirty.

I wanna know why people don't like Kai, players on toywars love him (hes infact the 3rd most popular figure used on toywars)

Is there something you can't tolerate about him? Hes basically just naomi but genderbend so there isn't really a big difference.

Please no more kai slander..i love kai hes one of my favorites..

    Thats all, have a great day! (. .̫ )

Hi! I followed this forum silently for some time now and I kinda lost the hope like probably a bunch of people here, since the game release got delayed a bunch of time...

However, after I saw this feature is getting added to the game, I got really exited. Dealing with cheaters this way is probably a step in the right direction, but I think the replay system can be used for other interesting stuff aswell.

Since I'm a video editor, I would like to recommend some features for the replay system, which I think would be a really nice addition for the video editing community of microvolts.

    - Disable HUD

    • idk which client version is used for microvolts recharged, but in previous versions of microvolts u could disable the HUD with "ctrl+u". If that still works, then ignore this point

    - Forward/Backward in time

    • the ability to go forward/backward in time to quickly find some nice kills and do some quick replays

    - Freeze Time

    • being able to move the camera in freecam, while the entire replay is frozen in time

    - Timescale

    • to speed up and slow down the entire players, animations and effects
    • Timescale of 1 would be standard speed
    • Timescale of 0.01 (or even lower if possible) would be slow motion
    • Timescale of 10 would be really fast (helps to find the right moment inside a replay faster)

    - Camera FOV

    • standard fov for the game is 63 iirc. You could add a slider which let's u change the fov. if u add the fov option to the game, I would personally only recommend it inside the replay system, since in a real match u can already look around corners easily with the third person camera. Any higher fov is probably pretty game breaking.

    - Camera Roll

    • to give the camera a tilt. probably a slider aswell

The points mentioned above shouldn't be too hard to implement and improve the system a lot if you ask me.

I have some more advanced stuff which could be added to the system. This however are probably just big nice to have additions, which would be insane in my opnion, but probably require a lot more work:

    - Camera path system:

This means being able to create camera points in 3D space. You would go into the freecam and press a button to create the first camera point. then move to another location to create the next one etc.

Every camera point u create, will save your entire view and settings you have at that moment when creating the camera point, which means saving:

    • camera fov
    • camera position (obviously)
    • camera tilt
    • camera angle

After you finished creating the camera path, you should be able to hit a button to start the playback.

If playing the camera path, it should blend between all the different values until it reaches the next camera point.

Reposition single camera points would be useful aswell.

You should also be able to clear the camera points, to create a new camera path.

In addition to this, you should also be able to select a mode for the path of the camera:

    • linear (just moves from camera point to camera point in a staight line)
    • bezier or catmull-rom algorithm (to create a perfectly smooth camera path by calculating curves of the created camera points)

This screenshot should help explaing what I mean:

    Unbenannt.png

The red dots would be the camera points u create in freecam.

    - World Greenscreen

    • the entire map would be green and only the player/gun models are visible normal

    - Depth of Field

    • to foucs on players or map objects etc.

I have two additions which could be added to the replay, to spot a cheater faster:

    - player glow

    • enables a glow around the player, which can be seen through walls. This way it's easier to spot someone using wallhack and aimbot in a replay, since the aimbot maybe locks onto a player through walls.
    •

    - headshot rate

    • showing the headshot rate of the currently selected player

There are probably some more points to spot cheaters faster, but I can't think of any good ones atm.

You mentioned the system is still under development, so I'm not sure what kind of features you guys are planning to add.

I would really appreciate if atleast some of the first points I mentioned could be added and I think a lot of people would enjoy them aswell 🙂

That was basically all I can think of right now. I'm curious what you guys think about it. Since some other games have features like that, I think it would be a really nice addition to the game.

IMPORTANT: All the points I mentioned above, besides the two for spotting cheater faster would be a great addition, but shouldn't be added if it would delay the game release further. It's something that would be really cool to have in the future.

this + what i've suggested in my earlier suggestion threads about demo/replay system to actual have each player's 1:1 perspective gameplay exactly how it looks to them, crosshair, sniper zoom-in, rifle zoom-in and such on. It is indeed hard task to actually get everything together, but it's for sure a must have feature in any competitive game, also it would be cool as you mentioned disabling hud which already is in game but a different approach in demo to be able to disable specific hud parts for example people for montages would only like to keep kill feed and ui texts when you do multiple kills and such on probably while others to check on cheaters would like to keep full experience of player's perspective, or in other cases where players can't record because they might have lags they could also record their demo if it's 1:1 pov as he played.

I can't imagine much has changed since 2017 when it comes to this stuff, I'd really hate for the game to struggle with this issue again, it was hard to feel like becoming a really good player was worth it when literally anyone could be cheating. Do you think a new anti-cheat would help? Or would they have to do more internally than just that?

uhm, even if it took me 5min to unpack and get working some exploits and few basic things, i never said i didn't struggle, to reverse entire changes that happened to game's classes/structs and other variable offsets took me a hour or 2, you could say comparable to any version from 0.6.7 from 2009 up to 1.1.1.158 from 2015 it would take me probably just 10mins only because t he bitwise instructions are different before surge era but rest are easy traceable by patterns i've created, but in masangsoft case all patterns were useless i had to do it from 0 again, about anticheat i guess anything would help as long as they try, even xigncode would be enough if they do more internally against most cheaters, overwatch is still doing fine and their anticheat is ring3 mainly just like xigncode(even though xigncode got its own driver i don't remember them using it on the game to protect), league of legends also using their own ring3 anticheat and all they do is manual inspect or banwave secretly cheats with hotfixes, they can always do such things without interfering about their license with xigncode.

btw the game didn't had any update to client after 2015 before masangsoft. toyheroes only modified client to change client's db file pass and changed icon its still same client as microvolts used in 2015, thats the main reason everyone we're still able to use every cheat i've published back in 2015 without any issue.

Who was cheating day 1? The only one I actually saw using any cheats was no one but Gaby himself. I'd love to see some recordings or similar things of these cheaters cause I didn't experience any while playing o/

in first 5mins of first closed beta indeed it was myself though not in public rooms, about later days there was someone who managed to update my triggerbot and nametags that i've published in 2015, also there's someone else with bit of knowledge able to unpack game's protection like i do.

Yea i forgot about that one, sw1ndle said something about them learning from nq games about coding for the game and that it took something (i think it was 2 years, correct me if im mistaken).

i just quoted what they've said in a thread, though there's not much any excuse for lack for community interraction.

about beta testing or release delay my only guess might be since they're using amazon for hosting probably they're trying to save as much money from not hosting due of their low budget(talking about budget meant for testing & until end of first months of release) which probably is alot smaller than even toyheroes's current monthly revenue.

as much as i wish i could be able to defend them most likely from the small pushed updates they did on steam, ranked mode system might not be even finished.

microvolts(later changed into microvolts surge eu/na) multiple times passed through multiple companies like pingpong, microwars bra/lat(latino from softnyx to gamengame another old branch of masangsoft), microvault(arabic tahadi), microvolts reloaded(philipines or indonesia i forgot), toywars japan, toywars thailand(previously have online first version, first ever devs were in taiwan then thailand short story their first copy of game was shipped with cdrom have online 0.6.7 and then online), there were some test servers as well and probably a chinese/koreean sv that i might had forgotten tho, mostly all of those we're published by different companies in contact with devs from nq games which was eventually a sub branch company part of masangsoft if i recall right not completly sure about last part since i don't have anymore the documents to provide evidence for that specific fact.

toyheroes indeed is private server pretending to be official and to own license from nq games a company which is no longer active since years also i can confirm there's no relation in any term between masangsoft and toyheroes.

btw 2017-2019 they were using as anticheat xigncode from ava emulated and eventually switched to his own ac by abusing mv's implementation of xigncode since its not so hard to load his own ac instead, and around 2020-2021 he implemented a shellcode dropper system which uses its own network system and gets activated depending on the heartbeat info it gets from their server, basically toyheroes could drop a virus or execute any code on your pc depending on the user tho since its not activated by default and i never encountered either the system to be active or working, but i can say atm at its current stage windows defender real time protection would detect and prevent the shellcode since the way he runs the shellcode won't bypass windows defender memory protection unless someone added toyheroes to windows defender exclusion list

if you do the maths you'll get 9.72k monthly average, there's private servers that earn 10-20k a month as well for this game considering there's players with decent pockets and most of them did play 2017-2020 and playerbase started declining alot harder barely after 2021 the numbers do sound right to me atleast if you know the playerbase and can remember the ammount of players who we're spending back then, still i highly doubt thats all they've earnt until 2019 they didn't had anything imagine how much they earnt until 2019 since they had most players 2017-2019
