  1. Your statements are completely right and I agree with it. But not for a game like MV. MicroVolts, along with Masangsoft, will never be an AAA game/publisher. Games like Valorant, LoL, CS2, etc, won't have p2w because their content and gameplay is either an old-school classic (CS2) or have a huge base of lore, competitive matter, gameplay variations, etc. Sadly, MicroVolts will never ever be an AAA game, no matter how current devs will promote it and how much content they will add. It won't happen with MV and it's a reality. MV has and will always have a strict player base with around 1k-2k players (on its good times). MV growing to 3k playerbase will take ages. But that's the limit with the idea of MicroVolts. Having a "sort of" P2W system in such a game will only be a plus. Plus, I agree with Sorel above that P2W doesn't really exist. You can always grind to paid items by playing more. In any game tbh. Same was for Surge. If devs can't and won't make the game variable in terms of weapons upgrades as you said (which would be a gamechanger if they made a good upgrade system), they at least have to differ stats a little bit of paid/unpaid weapons.
  2. p2w was alright until the moment God weapons came in. Playing around in CSD mode rooms and no-limitations rooms was way more fun than it is now. You had a choice at least. You could go tryhard mode in CSD matches with a huge variety of MP-upgraded weapons (9 levels of an upgrade make a lot more flexibility than A, B, C, and D weapons types). Or you could show off and have fun in a full RT room. Now it's too boring after even the first game. I personally was waiting for that new release of no p2w MV, but it came out boring as hell.
  3. I believe in you, good luck!
  4. Yeah, I got the idea. Imo, if players feel that GL or RL have an advantage over other weapons (which I agree, it is a thing sometimes), it definitely has to be rebalanced in general
  5. It's weird by itself to forbid players from using Rocket Launchers, as the weapon is still a part of the game. As all the weapons are balanced now, this would make no point at all. CSD rules (Clan Shutdown tournament) were made to equate weapons power between the participants, so the skill would matter but not the amount of cash you've put into the game. As for now, when RT doesn't really change the balance, it's really unnecessary.
  6. They aren't being "added", these people just named themselves like that.
  7. It is a cool initiative for sure, but imo the game isn't ready yet for a tournament hosting. The balance is not that stable yet; the amount of players that will come is rather doubtful, anti-cheat system is easy to break and for the money (RT) prize, they will be motivated to do it. Not to mention, that hosting such a tournament with the mentioned capacity is very, VERY hard, telling you as a former Event Supporter. Without some permissions that [MOD]'s would have, it will be rather painful than enjoyable. Cool initiative, but I'd suggest giving it more time.
  8. Spent around 11k RT for Sea Wasp series and Elegant Set (strictly elegant, not a mix). Got a full Elegant and Sea Wasp + White Sea Wasp. Also, tried to spin for mixed Elegant and Graceful - got nothing from like 20 spins, while got 2 rares from 10 spins if choosing a single set, totally not worth choosing a mixed one, even if it's a lower price, drops are awful. About the MP, spent like 35k MP and got the full rare Tech Pandora along with a gren. launcher and some random Tech parts for other characters. Overall, not bad as I got my full Pandora, but it's hard to mix yourself the set you want or a weapons you want. I never got Kai set which I tried to get.
  9. Just wait, there will be a ranked system, I bet there will be improvements for the weapons upgrade. You guys require all at once but after all, they are trying at least to make it balanced. Step by step, slowly, but still.
  10. Sup, As the game is officially launched, I'd like to give my short feedback about it. As the one who used to play MV from 2011, I can see some huge advantages in this version. But, there is still plenty of stuff to work on. [Advantages] - No p2w, skin-based system. A HUUUUGE improvement from what we had in the past. Congrats. - A reasonable weapons balance. Different stats for each weapon based on playstyle are a huge plus. It doesn't break the general balance, and players can still go along with their favorite playstyle. - Stable servers (for now at least). At the time of the release, there was a huge bump of players joining in, I'm sure that old servers would have crashed in the first second. Now, it holds a decent amount of players and, at least for me, I didn't have a single crash or a lag. - A lot of new players and the amount of rooms to play at. - A first badge of capsule items. The variety of items that can be gotten there is good as for the start, imo. They even brought SeaWasp series, maybe because of lots of "petition" threads haha. [Disadvantages] - Capsule system in general. I think it's a bit unfair to base it only on luck if you decided to spend money. Even though I got literally every Capsule item I wanted for now just for ~11k RT, I still know many players who got nothing or just one rare item from spending a decent amount of RT. I would propose making it like, if you roll a specific amount of times (for example, 40-50 times), you get a rare item or even a full set instantly. So basically for spending 30$ you are assured that you will get the item or a set that you want. And for these 40-50 spins you still get a chance to get the items based on your luck and drop rates. - Levels. Imo, getting levels now is way too easy. Not to mention that the level icon design is meh (yeah, it is), and the level system itself is a bit not properly made. It's been literally 8 hours from the start and there are people with a 100 level walking around already. - I'm not mentioning small bugs for example like a destroyed text in the weapon upgrade window, because I'm pretty sure it will be fixed quick. [Wishlist] - Clan system. I know it's just not out yet, but I really hope the clan war system will be made in an exciting competitive way, because it's one of the main reasons, for competitive players for sure, to be interested in the game. - Variety of weapon skins. It would be cool in the future to get customizable skins / additional special effects on skins because I can feel that the current skin system will get boring quickly, although it's perfect for a game balance. - Ranking system and tournaments. A bit excited to see if we will have something like that. Overall, great job, really. After the betas, I thought it had no chances, but you made it. Hope you won't leave the game on it's own after some time but will continue to grow it and work on it. Looking forward to what you will bring us next. Cheers.
  11. Hey there! As the game is about to start officially, I’m thinking about some tournaments organization (huh, again). And I’m here to ask you guys, what tournaments do you miss / would like to play / think will be necessary to make in this game? Write all of your ideas below, and let’s see how it goes. Note: as the game is still not released and I don’t know about the future balance and available mods, not to mention that I’m not even related to the company anyhow and can’t give out official prizes yet, this thread is more like ideas gathering one, so you can share even new ideas and your vision about tournaments that didn’t exist yet. Lesgo!
  12. Oh hey there! As soon as the game is released, I don't mind making some again ;))
  13. Ayo~ So, I've got a weird bug. Whenever I try to jump into the server, it drops me to the tutorial (as always), and after the first seconds of the tutorial, it freezes with a black screen. Any chances to fix that?
