  1. The beta is dead because people were expecting actual changes to the game and the things that actually changed only made the game even more broken. I think most people are just disappointed and lost the little bit of hope they still had.
  2. Yeah the simon update sounds were awful. The minigun and that 'ak-47' sound was unbearable. Please change this...
  3. Agreed, the new icons look like military medals. They would be good for a more realistic FPS or a war game, not Microvolts. The old icons are much better
  4. It doesn't satisfy my inner 2012 self at all. My inner 2012 self just wants the simple gameplay back, without all the spam and crazy tankers that make the game intolerable.
  5. It's like the beggining of Surge but worse
  6. If you upgrade speed on the speedy melee (mad wrech in this case) you get insane speed. Almost as fast as a zombie using the ability. I believe this is not intended.
  7. What? The problem is not the accs. It is absolutely broken. You can spam bazookas and nades really fast and the sniper is shit now so you cant even counter with that.
  8. Bazokas and nades are still over powered. The firing rate on the basic bazoka and nade is insane. You can pretty much spam 3 zookas/nades without even having to swap. Same thing for some of the shotguns. Just a lot of broken stuff on the weapons.
  9. You're not missing out on anything special. Right now, it is even more broken than it used to be.
  10. The changes to the weapons are really weird. The firing rate on shotguns is insane, the changes to the 'popular' weapons like sea eagle, kw, pulse, dont make sense at all and the bazokas and nades are still OP as fuck.
  11. I dont think anyone was expecting big updates. The problem is that the main problems of old microvolts are still here. Bazokas and Nades are still OP. The hp/speed system is very messy and not explained well. If everyone has the same HP why make it 2320? Why not simply remove all the boosts and make it the standard hp/speed. Plus other really silly changes, kw went from 3/6 to 2/4 magazine. Same for Pound while Rocket Pocket is now 3/6. Plus the firing rate of shotguns is absolutely insane, makes no sense.
  12. Depends on how much they spend on marketing.
  13. Are all the maps and modes exactly the same or is there new stuff?
  14. I couldn't disagree more with most of the things you said. First of all, the game doesn't need inbalance. Look at the best games out there. None of them are P2W and all rely on skins to make money (CSGO, League of Legends, Valorant and so on). Moreover, all the games that tried to go P2W have been heavily criticised Looking at Microvolts, you can easily see that it could make huge profits from skins and cosmetics. For example I think some of the weapons you mentioned like 'Potato Prime' or the 'Gold Rifle' could become skins that change the looks and sounds of a normal weapon. They also have a 'gem' in the capsule system, because people love to gamble. Secondly, the CSD tournaments and the players who played with MP only weapons were the players who were trying to push themselves and made Microvolts a very competitive game. I started playing on the beta Microvolts phase, back when the only weapons available were the MP ones and the tutorial weapons were purple. I saw the game evolve and the competitiveness too. At one point (Specially after Surge) it became impossible (and very boring) to play on public rooms with people winning by spamming bazookas and nades nonstop. The problem is that the developers never cared about the competitiveness side of Microvolts and most of the tournaments were community made. Even then, the best players were insanely good. For this reason I also disagree with you when you say that swaping and wavesteping should be removed. It was just a skill that the best players naturally developed to become better and better. If this new microvolts reaches a decent amount of players, then they can make a good Ranking System where players only play against similar skilled players. The only point I agree with you is that it is not beginner friendly, and yes there should be some improvements on that department.
