Heya! It's me, the stinky newbie. I have another brilliant idea.. I think.

 

Since I saw some posts about toxicity and smelly people in game.. how about a silent mode?

 

WHAT IS A SILENT MODE!?!?

It's simple! Silent Mode disables Chat. Not being able to see chat and Chatting yourself.

 

It would make it easier to ignore some special people!

 

Either being implemented into the options or via chat command

> silent 0(off)

> silent 1(hide everything except team chat)

> silent 2(hide everything)

This mode already exists in a more manual way
In the "esc" menu within a game you will find this option to mute some or all players.

i honestly think that the idea is unnecessary.

 

The game gives you the "block" system, which allows you to block x,y,z users and you will not see their messages in the chat.

It takes a few seconds for an user, to block certain players from using a coarse language.

 

It's true, your silent mode is useful when you want to hide an entire team chat, but to be honest it never happens that a player has an entire team insulting.

Still, in that case, you would just need a few more seconds to block more users and that's it.

 

You will also be able to block the entire chat, just by using the button already implemented in the game.
