  1. As excited as I was to find out my childhood game was back, I am now terribly disappointed with it. I understand developing a game takes a lot of time and effort, but the wait and anticipation were just not worth it in my opinion, given the amount of issues I and many other players have encountered. However, those issues can be fixed with a little more effort from the developers part, which I strongly believe is what all of us are waiting for at this point. I'm no microvoltian expert and I am sure there's plenty other issues that other players have already addressed, but I will simply focus on this for now. I believe we are all familiar with how the gacha system works in plenty games, however microvolts would be in my opinion the biggest waste of money as of right now, and I'll explain why. The reason gacha games are so popular is because, regardless of us players spending insane amounts of money, at the end of the day we are rewarded with something that we find worth enough to keep trying or playing, which is something microvolts does NOT offer and I am absolutely baffled by it given how expensive it is. You are offering us nothing worth our money or time invested in your game, and as much as that might work for now, given it's a fresh start, it will kill the game with time. For starters, your RT packs are insanely expensive compared to the amount a player has to spend on a single capsule spin. Everything about it is simply wrong. Now I do understand fixing all of the "issues" would results in no profit on your part, and realistically speaking we all know that's what every game is after. However, there's tweaks you can do to make our experience more satisfying while still reaching "your goal". Some of these tweaks include: Increasing the amount of RT received from purchasing packs - OR Decreasing the price of capsule spins to a favorable amount - OR Increasing the probability rate of capsules dropping rare items Fixing at least one of these would increase the players morale favorably. Other things I would suggest are the following: Add a capsule pity system. Similar to old microvolts, this would allow players who spin a lot to get an extra reward. The way I would do it is, for every 20 unlucky spins (feel free to adjust the number accordingly) the player would automatically get a rare item from the set, or another reward. Personally I would prefer the guarantee of obtaining at least one item from the set (getting to pick it would be even better but that would probably be asking for too much), however you could re-add coupons and a coupon only store, like back in the days, which would prevent us from losing our money and getting nothing in the sad (but terribly common) instances where our capsule luck is terrible. Bring back trading. There is no guarantee of getting a full set, you could spend 600 euros and still don't get the hair or any other parts you wish for, and yet get a lot of duplicates of the items you already owned. We literally have no use for these duplicates, other than selling them for 390MP which is insane, because imagine spending 20 euros for that one item and selling it for... essentially nothing. Now I understand trading could potentially decrease sales numbers, which is why I suggest adding a cap to trading. For instance, membership currently does not offer much to be worth the money, so one of the benefits of owning it could be trading itself. Players who buy the membership should be able to trade a specific number of times per month. For those who need or desire to do more trades, add a purchasable ticket in the store (for RT) which will grant them access to one trade. My idea could use some fixes, but I believe it's a good starting point. Given the fact that before re-launching the game you guys have advertised it as a non P2W, I think you should also keep in mind that more than half of your community are F2P players. This means a good majority are not willing to spend money on the game, shocking isn't it? (/s) Given this fact, you really should focus your attention on that part of the community as well: Diversify the purchasable cosmetics in the store. The cosmetic part of the shop is the most plain and boring thing I have seen in a very long time. I do appreciate the removal of 1-Day/7-Day/30-Day duration items in comparison to the old game, but just because all items are now unlimited it does not mean it should be boring. The shop used to be much more diversified and I really think you should add other "F2P" cosmetics, like the ones from the old game. I'm not sure how or why you guys decided it would be even remotely a good idea to make MP so unobtainable, given it's the basic currency of your game. Similarly to the RT issue, MP items as well as the capsule are much too expensive for the MP rewards you offer. It's self explanatory that MP should be offered when finishing a game, just like EXP. This is just a personal preference, and there's probably plenty players who like the special capsule feature. I however, don't. There's not a single cosmetic item I like from there, the only worth items would be the weapons. Add more MP friendly capsules, change them monthly, diversify the items F2P players can get. Why do you still have a "Set" menu in your shop if you don't sell sets? What's the point of empty menus? I am aware that there are plenty other issues the MV Team has to fix beforehand, as well as the fact that some (if not all) of the above issues have already been addressed by other players, however suggestions do not hurt. I would love to hear what other ideas you guys have. I truly hope you guys will pay close attention to your communities suggestion as we would really appreciate the game not dying a second time! Let's value each others time of trying to revive Microvolts. ๐Ÿค
  2. First of, hello everyone, how are you doing? This is the former post of the two that I'll be doing. In other words, it's a two-parter. The second one will be a poll regarding this. It's not the first and probably won't be the last time we'll be talking about this topic. But once again, we are talking about the future on how we are going to trade our items with friends or other players. So first of all, I'd like to take a look at the former methods used: 1) MicroVolts Surge - RT Seals 2) ToyHeroes - RT Converting and MP Seals And after we're done with those two, I'd like to throw my idea into the boxing ring: 3) New Idea - Market on the webpage for Free. Let's just jump into the old methods before explaining the new idea. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1) MicroVolts Surge So, in order to trade in MicroVolts Surge, you had to buy seals from the shop for a good amount of RT. (Or be lucky on the capsule machine later on) After purchasing the RT Seal, you could click on the item you would want to seal and had a sealing option available at the bottom of the item description. Sealing was done easily, but the issue was, removing it would mean that the seal was fully gone, even if done by accident. Each seal could only be used once and couldn't be taken off from an item in order to seal another, it would simply vanish. Now, in order to trade the item, you had to add the person you wanted to trade with and right click on their name in order to find the "Trade" option. After accepting the trade, you get thrown into your inventory and are able to select your item or items (Up to 10 at the time) and drag them into the window which appeared on the left (or simply double click the sealed item). If both players select the confirm button, the trade is done, you receive what you see on the screen. Mind you, when receiving the item, it is STILL sealed and you could trade it again right away. In order to use the items, you would have to unseal them. Quick review: Very simple Costs a lot of RT Both players need to be online _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ 2) ToyHeroes I know that not a lot of players were a fan of ToyHeroes, but I think the system was alright, so I will mention it. In order to trade in ToyHeroes, it was a bit more complicated. You had to set up a 2FA for your account in order to even access the trade system. After doing that, you had to login onto your account on the website where you could find the "Trade Inventory". There you would find an empty page at first, but after converting items that you own for a good amount of RT, they would be shown here. Now, after converting your item, you will find two options next to the item you conveted, "List Item" and "Seal for 5k MP" Listing the item will showcase the item on the marketplace, which was also available on the webpage, everyone and their grandma could now view what items you have for offering and what you are interested in. Sealing the item will basically work the same as in MicroVolts Surge, the item will be sealed in game. And you might have guessed it, the rest works the same as in MicroVolts Surge as well. You add one another, you offer a trade to the other person by right clicking their name. You both trade the items you want to, the trade is done. HOWEVER, the seal would be gone from the item and in order to trade it, the new owner of the item will have to go through the first phases again of sealing it. Also, if the first owner of the item listed it on the marketplace, and then trades it. It will still be showcased on the market, just with the new owners name on it, but the old description of what they have been looking for. Quick review: More secure More complicated Costs a lot of RT Both players need to be online _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Okay, we walked through the old methods, let's look at the new idea, which I hope you take a look at as well, and don't just push to the side: _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ 3) New Idea Glad you made it all the way here. The new idea is pretty simple once you get the hang of it and doesn't take a lot of effort from the players. It might take some time to implement though, as this idea will be webpage relevant, just as ToyHeroes was. The idea is, that you login onto the webpage via steam, so it can access informations from your account, such as what items you have and what amount of MP you got at the moment, etc. They would be adding a marketplace, where people can place items in and showcase them for free, that means, NO COSTS, as they can only show what they have. By doing so, people can also add what they are looking for, this is not item specific as ToyHeroes or MicroVolts Surge was, you can also offer MP, as our current MP situation is a bit dry, people might not only want items. After setting up the items you wanna showcase for other player as well as mentioning what you are looking for, people can now view the items and also know exactly what you want for it, or can at least know in what direction you want to go with your listing. The interested player has now two options, either "Offer" items and values, or "Contact" the player to make a deal via a private chat on the market itself. These two options are displayed below every item on the marketplace. Let's focus on "Offer" as "Contact" should be explained with the sentences above. The interested player now gets to a window, after clicking on "Offer", where they see their MP amount, as well as all the showcased items from both parties. At this point, it's probably best to mention, ONLY showcased items, can be traded on the market, otherwise everyone could see everyone's whole inventory. In the window itself, the player offering, can now choose their showcased items to trade, but ALSO select items the other player has showcased to add to the offer, in case they think they offer too much value. If you wanna offer items that are currently not showcased, you will have to list them first on the marketplace from your inventory. As mentioned previously, it's free and costs nothing to do so. After selecting the items you want and what you give, the offer is being sent to the player you try to trade with. The player you try to trade with now is able to view the offer on the marketplace and has the following options shown next to the offer they received from you: "Accept", "Reject" and "Make a change to the offer" if they accept, the trade will be made and you will receive your traded items and the MP in game via mail when you're logged out next, as well as have the items you offered taken from your inventory, as well as the MP. (If you think you're smart if you just stay online after the trade, it will automatically force log you out after accepting an offer, this goes for both parties, if in game during the acception, it will log you out after finishing the game) If they reject, nothing happens but you get notified, however they are able to mention as to why they rejected that offer, they don't have to though. If they choose to change the offer, you will be informed of the newly made offer and now you have those choices at hand, to accept, reject or once more come up with a new plan to seal the deal. On the marketplace you will find a bell that shows notifications whenever you receive an offer for one or more of your items, but also if someone accepted or rejected your offer, as well as if they made a new offer for you to check on. As you can see, everything is done on the webpage, which makes it a bit more flexible. Quick review: Sounds more complicated than it really is Is free of use and you decide for yourself what you offer No need to be in game No need to add the other player More flexible as you can access it on your other devices as well Might not be secure if you share your steam account (Just don't share it, you shouldn't anyway) _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Well, that's all I wanted to display here. From here on I'd like to send you to the second thread, where you can vote for the options above on what you would prefer to have. Just stating this because people might think of this as official for whatever reason, but that poll will NOT bring the trade system into the game. It's just to see the opinions of the community. Thanks for reading all this! To the Poll Click Here
