By that I meant the designed functions of social medias, like- The coding and stuff that I'm not really aware of lol- But when I refered to this website's design, I was referring to how on most social medias/websites you can react to things endlessly (tho on other places is mostly just likes and dislikes). So, really what I wanted to say is that it's a really odd function to give users a sort of limit to how many times they can react to posts, compared to other "social medias" (tho forums tend to be more specific and focused on one thing, it technically counts as a social medium?? Maybe idk really tho, again not that good at expressing stuff-) Also I'm a white skin latina, Brazillian to be more specific, and you if you don't mind me asking? (sorry I mean I know your race since you you already said it before, I meant your ethinicity 😅)

Yeah I read that too- Can't tell if it's trolling but then again, I just don't get trolling and pranking in general XD Also yes, it takes a lot of time rebuilding the game, the animations, the maps, the game balancing, etc. I'll try to be mindful of that. They do need a more social presence if they plan on launching this game, are they perhaps trying to keep a low profile for beta testing?? Is the game really not done yet, and if so, why just not say it so while still keeping contact with the fanbase? Is the team maybe not that well divided due to scheduling and maybe lack of people to fill the social presence department ( or whatever is called lol)? I think that if they had an social media account, on Twitter or Instagram maybe idk, Youtube, it would make communication a lot easier but like, they can and SHOULD be able to tell us stuff on their own damn website! Like- It seems like for some reason they don't even try to maintain their already existing and very tired fanbase, we technically have a communication bridge but they keep ignoring us XD Like democrite said, it feels like we're in a cycle-

It's really nice, right? I think it's charming how different C.H.I.P style is from the more humanoid characters. I can't react so right now I can only quote ;v; I just miss this game's art style and vibe

I don't think they're trolling, or at least hope not- I mean- Really? You guys buy the rights to a game, the websites, the whole brand, are constantly "working" on the game since you constantly upload stuff on the forums once in a Blue Moon- But like- Just for the lolz??? Hejgskdakdhadhakk That would be funny but also a huge waste of money on the devs part. I know that game making takes time but considering how the game was already kinda finished it seems kinda weird that not only is this game taking a long time to be beta tested, we also have barely any clues of what we're looking forward to. You're right, they should have some sort of social media, or at least be a little more present in their own community 😕 we don't need constant leaks but at least some communication would be nice. I would say to not lose hope but to just be mindful that for some reason our game is being advertised as none existing. Which is just- Weird??

I didn't know that skin was based on an artist really, but now that you mentioned I searched it up and apparently it's based on Jimi Hendrix, he seems to be a really well-known guitarist (tho seriously, I live under a rock man- I didn't know!!). I'm not gonna lie, I thought the skin was based on disco tropes/stereotypes (?), so my bad for not really searching it up in the first place. I can't really speak on this topic tho since I really don't know anything but C.H.I.P's lips on that skin kinda resembles black face a bit (not American nor black so I don't know the history of it- Still, thanks a lot for mentioning it! I personally just never searched up the references used on the skins ;v;) Also all those C.H.I.P skins are so good!! Damn, I should have played with him when I had the chance 😢 all his stuff is so colorful and creative.

When I was younger I used to see some people wearing that skin and at the time I wasn't really aware of the implications but yeaaaaaaaaah.... I don't know, I don't think it aged well 0_0 Personally never played as C.H.I.P but I hope they don't add it- Or maybe change it to be less, like, that? Idk really what could be done on that skin- Democrite is so right! Tho sorry for my confusion but- Who is the character besides Knox on that picture Spiffy shared? I didn't bring it up before because I thought someone would mention their name eventually but I still don't know who they are :'D Are they new?

Part of me hopes they don't take away those characters since a lot of people really love them but the other part craves new peeps and I'm conflicted of having more dudettes would be way too much for the game, hopefully if they keep those characters they can keep enhancing them and giving them parts and what not and if they do add new ones, that they also give them the same attention that the main characters received! I've been brainstorming some ideas for characters, not that I really wish they were in game, mostly just for the challenge of it, ya know ^^? I have some sketches but they suck right now ;^; I'll need sometime to properly draw their concept art- It's really silly ideas tho, one is based on japanese delinquents (more specifically a character from Yu Yu Hakusho) and 80's/90's fashion(?maybe idk?) and the other is based on car racing (Penelope Pitstop) mixed with 70's vibes

That doesn't make a lot of sense but okay, sorry for the off topic- I agree with both of you so badly on this!! It's been 6 years hasn't it? And most they can give us is like an update almost every year? That's kinda absurd, but it's not just about us being left blind for so long is also the rest of the industry, since most people don't know the game is "coming back". It'll be kinda difficult to maintain, rebuild and grow a fanbase when you so rarely give them anything to wait for (like seriously, patience is important of course, and it's admirable that we're still all here and all but damn, they really need to get their shit together of they want us to keep coming here, all we have is concept art which is fine but like- Not enough to keep us engaged for another year I think). I'm worried this year we will be told the game is coming back again but later be told that "it's not this year tho". Sorry I can't really vocalize my opinion in a better way right now, so I'm sorry for any grammar mistakes and like- Not getting the time correctly (I can't remember if it is 6 years since the game closed or not-)

I'm also terrible with my words lol, especially when it comes to this sort of conversation since I can be pretty ignorant to the topic of poc representation in media and honestly anything and everything lol. It takes me a long time to decide what to say and I was still trying to keep it short XD thanks a lot! Having character options like different skintones and hairstyles with different texture, or even having new characters that seem to be from different races/ethinicities (in doll-form, of course) wouldn't change the game's core gameplay, lore or even mechanics, it would just give people a bit more freedom to create their own style and feel welcome in the fanbase. It wasn't an MAJOR part of the old game, but customizing the characters was a very nice experience for a lot of players. Again, they didn't play the game JUST for that, but because there was the option to do so, created an open way for even more players to find interest in this game, the more players the better, that's why represantation is important for both game companies and player base. It's not really a trend as more of both a social discussion that has been more visible and talked about in recent years, and a marketing/engagement strategy for most companies (which can be morally grey most of the time, since they're more likely than not just using representation to load their own pockets without any real concern to said rep, but then again, what's the problem of getting more players by making them feel welcomed, right? And also- Idk man, poc exist too so I can't see why having more rep would be so controversial XD). Not trying to diss anyone or even start a fight, I wanted to offer an view as to how this could be beneficial for our game and to also remember us all that this is just a discussion being had between players- It's a suggestion mostly, and a conversation that may not change anything for the game but can still be enjoyable and interesting to have.

There really isn't any poc characters except for Sharkill Khan I think! And maybe Naomi and Kai if you consider them Korean- I personally wouldn't mind new characters (I don't know if I expressed myself well on my first comment, but I wasn't trying to say I don't like the Newer characters (Amelia,Sharkill,Sophitia,Simon,and I can't remember if there was someone else lol) I was trying to say that some players may not like the idea of more characters being added (without proper treatment), and tried giving an perspective as to why- Really, really poorly tho ;v; ). I think that adding other shades of skin tones would be a great way to add representation while also leting the players create their own looks (I'm a little excited at the amount of possibilities for character customization that this game could have-), I'm actually really glad you created this topic, it's nice, so, thanks!! :3 Also desafinado56 is absolutely right-

I've noticed that some players are a bit apprehensive when it comes to having new characters, I can't remember correctly but I think characters like Sharkill Khan, Amelia and I think Sophitia(?) didn't get any sets and stuff?? And as Spiffy said, they had weird voices as well. Tho personally I don't mind new characters as long as they give them a nice design and personality😄 It would be really cool to have more customization options, I was thinking that maybe instead of adding new characters they could maybe add character sets that give the OG main characters completely different looks (I'm thinking about- Sets of clothes, skin, hair and weapons based on different ethinicities and countries, they could even base these sets on the player base! Like- A Brazillian set, for example). But that may sound kinda silly and too much work for the team right now, so what if instead we could have skintone options and more kinds of hairstyles? I think that would be really cool and easier for the Masang Team to work with. It doesn't sound impossible, and I do hope that in the end they'll find a way to add more character variety and representation in one way or another 😄
