Which channel were you on? And did you get any error messages? Maybe you can try to verify the integrity of your game files (https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/0C48-FCBD-DA71-93EB)

Beta key emails were sent out via different emailing system with the forum's, just they usually go to the spam folder. And forum's verification email seems the one that has the issue currently. If anyone is having a trouble on sign-up forums, please send a ticket to the support page! Thanks.

I'm very sorry to hear that but it would be unfair for the ones who have registered but weren't chosen for the 2.0 beta if we give away the keys through a way other than registration. Hope you and your friend would understand that.

Agreed! The team is still discussing every single detail you all pointed out during the closed beta. Sadly, there's nothing much to tell you in this current state.
